There are plenty of activities on offer around the island, including an array of water sports. You can hire complimentary snorkelling equipment to explore the incredible house reef, or enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing for up to one hour each day. You can also learn how to windsurf, book banana-boat rides and visit the on-site SSI Dive Centre, which offers a range of dive courses for children, beginners and experienced divers (supplement charges apply).

Additional facilities include an ocean view infinity pool, badminton and tennis courts, a fitness centre and a kids’ club for children aged four to 11. At the kids’ club, children participate in a range of supervised art and crafts activities or play at the playground and shallow pool outside. Babysitting service is available for an additional charge.

For a more relaxing experience, slip off to The Spa, where you can book a therapeutic aromatherapy massage, a traditional Ayurvedic treatment or a revitalising flower bath and scrub (charges apply). After your treatment, you can unwind in the hydrotherapy area, where you’ll find a sauna, steam bath and temperature-controlled pools. You can also book a variety of beauty treatments or private yoga classes for a supplementary charge.

In the evenings, the resort maintains a lively atmosphere with DJs, live music, karaoke and cultural shows with BoduBeru drums. For an additional charge, you can also watch an outdoor film on the beach under the stars.

There are four restaurants on the island. Located near the ocean, The Aqua is the resort’s main restaurant, where you can enjoy a glorious buffet spread each morning. You can return here for lunch and dinner, too, to sample classic international dishes and Maldivian favourites.

Well Done, situated on the beach, is an open-air a la carte restaurant which specialises in fresh fish and seafood dishes, including lobster and catch of the day. Meanwhile, The Spice serves rustic Italian cuisine by day − including homemade pizzas − followed by authentic Indian fare in the evening.

For a more intimate dining experience, book a table at the Wine Cellar, where expert sommeliers pair fine wines with light bites. Alternatively, you can book a romantic sunset dinner on the beach for an additional charge.

There are also two bars on the island, including Positive Energy, which serves tropical shakes, handcrafted cocktails and fruity smoothies by the pool. The Nautilus is the perfect spot for sundowners, as it boasts an outdoor terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean.
