Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa is an elegant resort offering a stunning setting, collection of apartments with self-catering options. You'll find a few family-friendly facilities too, including kids’ menus and a selection of baby amenities that can be requested ahead of your arrival.
The resort is in a fantastic location, only five minutes from the coastal towns of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, and in close proximity to some of the finest beaches and golf courses in the Algarve. Faro Airport is 40 miles away – approximately 50 minutes by car.
The resort features traditional local architecture with Moorish influences and an abundance of manicured gardens, providing a calm and tranquil environment. A striking interior courtyard features tiles designed by local artists and many accommodations enjoy a typical Algarve chimney. The low-level buildings integrate fully into the landscape, making the apartments an ideal choice for families with children. While the hotel's swimming pool is not the most polished, it's still a great spot for a dip.
Ollie’s Kids’ Club offers a simple space for little ones to enjoy, too. Expect a modest room with a handful of toys, plus some supervised activities running during the easter and summer holidays. There's also a playground located beside the club, open year-round. Please note that the number of staff members on duty at the kids' club may vary and children are not supervised at all times.
If you are travelling with children, a handy selection of equipment can be requested ahead of time by contacting the resort. Items include cots, highchairs, bottle sterilisers, baby bathtubs and baby gates for apartment kitchens.

The Olive Tree restaurant offers up fresh Mediterranean ingredients from the garden, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with panoramic views over the resort's lake. In the evenings, follow the music here to watch live music acts while you dine. For poolside refreshments, Jasmin Pool Bar serves cocktails as well as light snacks, lunches and dinners (open March to October). At The Olive Bar you can catch the best sporting events, enjoy live music performances or simply relax while sipping your preferred cocktail or refreshment. Ask for the petiscos menu – traditional Portuguese snacks, available all day.
In all dining venues, you’ll find children’s menus and takeaway options – room service menus are available 24-hours too.
The half board and full board packages include a three-course set menu dinner. The full board package also includes a two-course lunch at Jasmin Pool Bar (in the high season), or a buffet (when available) at The Olive Tree. Drinks not included.
