Set within the city of Albufeira, this hotel is found in the small village of Olhos de Agua. It’s around a ten-minute walk from Olhos de Agua beach, home to the fresh springs after which the village is named. Albufeira’s historic old town is just over five miles from the hotel, and the popular Falesia Beach is around three miles in the opposite direction. Faro International Airport, also known as Gago Coutinho Airport, is 22 miles away.
Apartments are simple but roomy, with pale peach flooring and white walls, paired with navy and aqua blue sofa beds and bedding. Bedrooms are separated from living rooms – ideal if you’re travelling with guests who are making use of the single sofa beds. Both apartment types feature a kitchenette with an electric stove, kettle, microwave and kitchen utensils (available on request), while an upgrade grants pool views.

The main free-form pool is encircled by palms and teal sun loungers. Beyond the pool, landscaped lawns offer further space for sun worshipping. There’s an additional pool for children, too, as well as a mini aqua park, divided into two zones – a central island for children aged 2 to 17 and four bigger slides for children from 6 to 17. On dry land, a kids’ club, teen’s club and a videogame room (charges apply) offer additional amusement.
If you’re actively inclined, a fitness centre and multipurpose court can be found on site. Or, if pampering is more your thing, massages can be arranged.
Entertainment programmes are offered for all ages in the daytime and evenings and include live music and shows.

The buffet restaurant hosts breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is split into two sittings – the first offering an American-style affair with hot eggs and pancakes, and the second providing cold continental bites. Lunch and dinner features soups, salads, meat and fish dishes, along with a variety of sweet treats. Throughout the afternoon, snacks are available including burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, sandwiches and cake. At the pool bar, you’ll find ice cream and refreshments, and Melody Bar serves soft drinks and local spirits.
