We have additional entry requirements for several countries. Please read the relevant section if you are travelling to, or transiting through, these countries.
Australia entry requirements and transit via Singapore
You'll need to meet the requirements to enter Australia. Please also review the Australian entry check list. You must be fully vaccinated to be able to travel. Further restrictions and exemptions apply. Our flights to Australia operate via Singapore. Learn more about transiting through Singapore.
If your flight is operated by our partner Qantas, proof of being fully vaccinated is also a mandated requirement to travel on flights operated by them. Their restrictions and exemptions apply. Visit the Qantas website for more information.
Please check the travel requirements for your final destination. Proof of vaccination status and/or a negative COVID-19 RT PCR test result may be required. You can find out more by using our Sherpa tool above.

Before checking in for your flight, you must visit the Air Suvidha portal and upload your COVID-19 travel documents:
Please complete your self-declaration form.
If you’re fully vaccinated, please upload your vaccine certificate.
If you’re not fully vaccinated, you’ll need to test for COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to starting your journey and upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR certificate into the portal.

All arrivals (excluding Saudi citizens, residents and Gulf Cooperation Council citizens) also need to have medical insurance that covers the cost of treatment for COVID-19.
All arrivals must download and register on the Tawakkalna app within 8 hours of arriving in Saudi Arabia.
Visitors must be vaccinated to travel to Saudi Arabia
The US Government has introduced new laws on COVID-19 testing and the wearing of face masks as you travel. Please check the latest US entry requirements before you travel. You can also learn more on the US CDC website.
Get your documents prepared and approved in advance with the VeriFly app
For a quicker and easier journey, you can upload your COVID-19 travel documents into the VeriFLY app before you check in online and arrive at the airport:

The app will prompt you to confirm your flight details and ask you to upload proof of a negative COVID-19 test, vaccine certificate and any other required documents. (If you have a connecting flight, please only add flight details for the final leg of your journey. If you’re connecting through the UK, you’ll still need to complete a passenger locator form separately).
The app then checks that you meet your destination's requirements and displays a pass or fail message. You’ll receive an app notification and email with the full results.
Once your documents have been fully verified, you’ll be able to check in online. Make sure you bring all your original COVID-19 documents with you during your journey and look out for dedicated VeriFLY check-in and fast track lanes.

Common Travel Area - The Common Travel Area is comprised of the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. You don’t need to use VeriFLY if your journey is only within the Common Travel Area.
How to use VeriFLY:

VeriFLY is a third-party travel readiness app, provided by Daon. Using this third-party service is optional. You’ll be able to present a test certificate and other documentation at the airport if you prefer but please note this will require extra time and you won’t be able to check in online the day before. Please remember, it is your responsibility to check and observe all of the latest health and entry requirements applicable to your journey before you travel.
Important information regarding use of the VeriFLY App
The VeriFLY App is completely independent of British Airways and you are submitting your information directly to Daon (acting as the data controller), please check Daon’s privacy policy and terms and conditions.
In relation to the US attestation and associated metadata only that information is collected by Daon (acting as data processor) on behalf of British Airways and is subject to British Airways’ privacy policy.
British Airways will not share your booking information with VeriFLY. You remain subject to British Airways’ Terms and Conditions of Carriage which are applicable to your booking, including in relation to denied boarding for failure to meet country entry requirements.
It is your responsibility to check and observe all the health policy and country entry requirements. If you fail to meet applicable requirements, we will not be able to carry you and compensation, care and assistance provisions will not apply and we will have no further liability to you.
Depending on your nationality and the purpose of your journey, you may need a visa or an equivalent form of authorisation for every country you enter as part of your journey — even if you are only connecting from one flight to another. This is in addition to a valid passport.
Each passenger is responsible for checking and conforming with the entry and exit requirements at their arrival and return destinations. If you have made a booking on behalf of someone else, you must provide them with this information. Requirements may include temperature checks, proof of negative COVID-19 tests or completion of forms. Please be aware that if you fail to comply with these requirements you may not be able to travel or be allowed to enter your destination.
If you’re unable to travel, please don’t come to the airport. If you need to change your booking, please log into Manage My Booking to see which rebooking options are available to you.
