Overview

Coco Reef Resort and Spa is an award winning retreat, set amongst ten acres of beautifully manicured tropical gardens with its own private white sand beach. It enjoys a great location on the island, in the south western town of Crown Point. The property is situated close to two of Tobago’s most iconic beaches, Store Bay and Pigeon Point. Enjoy a range of excellent facilities including a stunning spa, modern fitness centre, tennis courts, diving lessons and kids' club and more.

You'll arrive at Coco Reef via a beautiful sweeping driveway, lined with Royal Palms, where you'll be greeted by an impressive lobby dominated by grand and elegant curving staircases. The hotel has a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, featuring handmade terracotta tiles, palms and fountains. It is popular with couples, honeymooners and families. Guest comments focus on praise for the hotels friendly and professional management and staff. Tobago International Airport is just one mile away from Coco Reef. Scarborough town centre is about five miles from the hotel. The hotels pristine white sand, private beach is reputed to be the islands finest.

Other facilities

Lounge by the freshwater pool overlooking both the beach and Coconut Bay or pamper yourself in the modern Coco Reef Salud Spa. Offering a full menu of classic treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures, this spa also features a sun deck/aerobics area, as well as a sauna complete with a drench shower. There’s a dedicated fitness centre boasting state-of-the-art cardiovascular, strength and aerobics training equipment. You can also enjoy complimentary tennis on two illuminated Har-Tru courts during your stay, alongside plenty of water sport activities. From scuba diving, windsurfing and water skiing to kayaking, pedalo rentals and snorkelling.

The Coco kids' club is ideal for little ones. Open daily from 10:00 until 17:00, kids aged three to ten can enjoy plenty of fun and engaging facilities, including a mini pool table, mini foosball table, movies, music, crafts, board games and more.

Off-resort excursions can also be organised including golfing (at the nearby Mount Irvine Bay course and Plantation Golf course), diving, trips to the Tobago Forest Reserve, botanical and ecological tours, as well as catamaran sunset cruises.

Dining information

Tamara’s Restaurant, specialises in international cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients. Dine here for ocean views and a full buffet-style breakfast or a la carte dinner. Bacchanals is a casual, seafront restaurant and bar with wooden decking flanking the sands of the beach. It serves lunches and snacks during the day and a dinner service of Caribbean cuisine under the stars. You'll also find a themed buffet held here three nights a week, and a bar open daily from 10:00 until 23:00.

Refreshments and cocktails can also be found at The Gallery Bar and Lounge, overlooking the beachfront terrace. This chic venue features bamboo palms, a waterfall and live entertainment. Or for bubbles, head to Bobsters, an intimate Champagne bar nestled between Tamara’s and the hotel lobby. The décor here features original murals of the Caribbean’s most famous entertainers.
