Designed with families in mind, the resort offers abundant facilities and recreational programmes to keep everyone entertained. To start, there’s the exciting Grecoland kids’ club for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years near the beach. Qualified staff supervise a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including gardening, arts and crafts and team games. Children can enjoy snacks with Grecoland staff at the main restaurant’s ‘tasty corner’, and teenagers are invited to play volleyball, tennis and basketball at the Grecoteens club.

Sporty families will love the myriad of free activities on offer. You can take up complimentary water sports on the beach, including canoeing, pedal boating and windsurfing (for qualified users only). Other water sports, such as water skiing, banana boating and jet skiing, are available for a supplementary charge. Otherwise you can play tennis, basketball or five-a-side football at the spacious playground and two floodlit tennis courts. There’s also the opportunity to take up beach volleyball, table tennis, boccia and archery – or join open-air cinema screenings with movies for children, folklore dance shows and discos in the evening. If you’d like to explore the destination you can book an excursion with the concierge team (for an additional charge).

Around the property, you’ll find two large outdoor pools, an indoor pool and children’s pools − one of which boasts two water slides. The main pool is surrounded by tall palm trees and an elegant temple-like cabana, and the pool with water slides is set close to the beach. You can relax in the hotel’s gardens, as children frolic on the open lawns, and you can spend time on the child‐friendly beach with calm, shallow waters for swimming. Free changing cabins, showers, sunbeds and umbrellas are available here.

The Wellness Centre features a well-equipped gym. The spa offers a freshwater pool and sauna, in addition to a tempting range of massages and beauty treatments (extra charges apply). Health-conscious guests can also enjoy an exclusive yoga and breakfast experience, or take part in complimentary aerobics and water gym classes.

Dining information

At Grecotel Casa Marron, the six dining options are located in the central square with fountains or along the beautiful beachfront. They each use the freshest ingredients and provide special children's menus. The Casa Marron Restaurant serves buffet-style dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast offerings include a healthy section and a Greek corner with traditional pastries, pies, cheeses and more. You can savour global flavours at themed buffets each evening, and children can help themselves to food and drinks at the exclusive kids’ buffet.

During the day, head to Trattoria for light Mediterranean fare, such as handmade pasta dishes, fresh salads, club sandwiches and grilled souvlaki. You can also savour handmade, wood-fired pizzas at Pizzaria, or stop by Bakery for tempting pastries, cakes, cookies and hot drinks. Satisfy your sweet cravings at the Creperie-Gelateria, with a selection of delicious ice creams and crepes or visit Kafeneio in the main square for traditional Greek drinks and meze dishes.

The laidback Casa Marron BBQ House serves tantalising grilled food in the evenings, from succulent meats to fresh seafood, accompanied by home-grown salads and vegetables. You can also dine at the spectacular beachfront a la carte restaurant (reservations required) overlooking the Ionian Sea, specialising in authentic Greek cooking. 

Two on-site bars serve a variety of drinks, including a casual bar at the square and the beachside Plaz Marron Bar. 

Additional information

The dress code is ‘casual’ in the daytime and ‘smart casual’ in the evening. You should wear cover-ups for breakfast and lunch and avoid wearing beachwear at dinner. Footwear is always required in the bars and restaurants.
