Dining makes the most of Madeira’s produce and Atlantic setting. Michelin-starred William Restaurant leads the way with creative meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes showcasing local ingredients, all served with panoramic coastal views. From April to October, seasonal Brisa Do Mar turns to fresh seafood with a Portuguese twist, while Ristorante Villa Cipriani brings classic Italian cooking to a terrace overlooking the Atlantic.

Mornings start at the Pool Restaurant, where breakfast comes with sea views beneath its large parasols. Return for lunch and the all-day a la carte menu ranges from a Wagyu beef burger to passionfruit creme brulee, while Gelateria San Giorgio takes care of something sweeter with scoops of gelato.

Afternoon tea brings finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and homemade pastries to the Tea Terrace, paired with aromatic teas or a glass of champagne. The Tea Library offers another spot for afternoon treats, with cakes, pastries and tea-infused cocktails, before 1891 Bar takes over come evening with signature cocktails and mocktails.
