The hotel’s crescent-shaped beach is lined with sun loungers and umbrellas. After sunbathing, you can cool off in the turquoise waters or head to the jetty to try a range of water sports – including kayaking, paddleboarding and kneeboarding. On the edge of the beach, there are several swimming pools which overlook the beach and Arabian Gulf. This includes a whirlpool and a separate pool for children.

Elsewhere on the property, make use of the outdoor tennis court or head to the health club. The gym here is outfitted with Technogym equipment, and there are fitness studios, steam rooms and a sauna. For a supplement, you can also participate in a fitness class – whether it’s yoga, Pilates or power balance. The spa is the ideal place to unwind after working out; choose from a range of Clarins signature face and body treatments, or specially tailored spa packages. You will find a separate male and female area, while the general facilities include hammams, relaxation lounges.

The Kempinski Playroom is an inviting and colourful space for younger guests. They offer a supervised kids’ club for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years. Kids can spend time here, playing with toys or participating in games and craft activities.

Head to El Faro for a contemporary, Spanish-themed restaurant serving authentic tapas and paella dishes. Or take in the vibrant atmosphere of Toro Toro. Nozomi showcases Japanese cuisine with a selection of sushi and vegetarian options, as well as tempting Wagyu beef, Kobe beef and black cod dishes. Public House is a retro-style spot offering an American diner and sports bar ambiance. For a more elegant affair stop by Al Sufra, an award-winning Levantine and Middle Eastern a la carte restaurant. Unwind in the coffee lounge and on the open terrace here. Or dine beachside at the casual Lobito de Mar for Andalusian tapas and enjoy its BiBo concept.

The perfect social spot, The Bohemia Lounge delivers golden-age glamour, overlooking the hotel’s lush gardens and pools. This cigar lounge serves up a wide selection of signature drinks and snacks, including frozen smoothies and cocktails. Alternatively, spend time at Cafe Murano to enjoy a variety of teas and handmade chocolates or pastries. At sunset, make your way up to The Secret Garden for an unmatched rooftop scene. Complete with panoramic waterfront and glittering skyline vistas, hand-crafted cocktails and gourmet light bites. After sundown, soak up the sophistication at The Stage. You’ll find this intimate venue putting on a show with nightly musical performances.
