The hotel enjoys an enviable location set on 300 metres of beach. Spend time in the sea, relax on sun loungers or marvel at sunsets from a cosy cabana. Cool down in the expansive pool, which features lily-pad sun loungers and changing colours to reflect the overall relaxed ambience – or book a soothing spa treatment in the wellness centre.

Sports enthusiasts will relish the variety of activities on offer, including water sports, mountain bike excursions (external suppliers) and table tennis. There’s also an on-site gym and various fitness classes such as yoga, PIlates and aqua aerobics.

Children from aged four and above (up to 14 years old) will be well entertained throughout the day with Grecoland kids’ program. Kids will be in their element with team games, creative arts, cinema showings and much more. They can also eat snacks and drink at the Tasty Corner throughout the day. Grecobaby provides a selection of equipment – from mats to bouncy chairs and listening devices – to help you and your baby feel at home (although there may be a supplementary charge for some products).

Cretan delicacies, fresh produce and healthy, organic dishes await you at Grecotel Caramel. For a copious breakfast buffet – with an impressive selection of fresh juices, egg-white omelettes, cakes and hot dishes – head to Caramel The Restaurant. Offering local produce such as herbal teas and honey. In the evenings, you can enjoy the hot and cold buffet with show cooking, vegetarian options and modern Mediterranean cuisine with a twist.

For a romantic alfresco meal overlooking the illuminated pool, try Gourmet a la Carte Restaurant which serves fresh seafood and meat dishes. Panther Bar is the perfect spot to relish after-dinner cocktails or refreshing mixers throughout the day.

If you are staying in a villa you can upgrade to Grecotel's exclusive dining concept, ‘The Dine Club’, in resort for an additional charge. This means you’ll be able to eat at select restaurants around the island, and it covers free kids’ dining. Participating restaurants at Grecotel include: Amirandes, White Palace, Caramel Boutique Resort, Creta Palace and Agreco Farms.

You have the choice to exchange your dinner for lunch with a set menu, at no extra charge, or an la carte credit allowance in Grecotel Caramel Boutique Resort. There’s also the option to have dinner in the main buffet restaurant in Grecotel Caramel Boutique Resort, at no extra charge, or a choice of selected a la carte restaurants with a credit allowance. Additionally, guests will receive one free a la carte dinner and one dinner in Agreco Farms, per seven-night stay.

As part of the ‘Dine Club’ children under 12 years receive an all-in dining experience including lunch at Grecotel Caramel main restaurant, refreshments, snacks and ice creams all day at Grecoland, and a la carte dining in designated restaurants with children’s menus. Please note reservations are required for the a la carte restaurants. Participating restaurants may be subject to change without prior notice. Drinks and beverages are not included.   

Additional information

The dress-code for restaurants is elegant casual attire during the evenings. Beachwear and shorts are not allowed during the evenings, and gentlemen should wear long trousers and shirts with sleeves (short or long) in all restaurants and bars.
