Overview
This four-star, waterfront hotel provides a great base for exploring the city, via the nearby train station. It is close to the Fisketorvet shopping mall and cinema and has a superb restaurant.
Sitting on the waterfront, on an artificial island of a waterfront area, Copenhagen Island enjoys a peaceful, central location. The hotel is walking distance to Tivoli Gardens and a ten-minute walk to the cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs of the Meatpacking District. Dybbolsbro train station is 450metres away and it is a one mile walk to the central station, or one stop on the train. The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek and City Museum are about a mile way and Stroeget, the main shopping street, are about two and a half miles away.
The well-appointed, but compact rooms provide welcoming Nordic design with clean whites and artwork and are Green Key certified for those environmentally conscious travellers. The bathrooms are modern and bright and provide toiletries and hairdryers. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in your room too.
