Uniquely positioned between two white-sand beaches, the oceanfront Hilton Barbados Resort boasts a central location on the stunning peninsula of Needham’s Point. This lavish resort boasts stunning ocean views from each room and is designed to provide unlimited comfort so that you can fully relax and enjoy your time in the Caribbean. You’ll be able to unwind on one of two soft, powdery beaches, bathe in the infinity pool and retreat to the upscale spa for reinvigorating treatments.
Conveniently located, the hotel is close to the island’s top attractions, many of which are within easy walking distance. This includes the charming capital city, Bridgetown, which lies just two miles from the resort. Charles Fort, a 17th Century Fortress with sunset views over Carlisle Bay, is on the hotel grounds itself and intriguing nearby sites include George Washington House and the historic Barbados Garrison area – which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll find many historic, military buildings. The lively St Lawrence Gap is just over three miles from the resort. It’s here you’ll experience Caribbean charm and find plenty of enticing restaurants or vibrant bars. Grantley Adams International Airport is also fairly easy to reach (ten miles away).
The hotel has 342 ocean view guest rooms, which are spread throughout the multi-storey complex. All rooms are modern, airy and spacious, being able to accommodate up to four guests. Rooms feature a private balcony overlooking the bay or ocean, a flat-screen TV and mini fridge. Families can make the most of the generous space afforded in Ocean View rooms. Premium Ocean View rooms are slightly more spacious and tend to be on a higher floor for enhanced views and a more exclusive feel. For supreme luxury, consider the Panoramic View Corner Suite which offers two individual balconies, panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty, a wet bar and separate bathroom.

The Grille is an intimate, fine dining restaurant, which offers a gourmet, a la carte menu. This restaurant only opens for dinner between Tuesday and Saturday, so it’s worth reserving a table, especially if it’s a busy weekend. For casual dining, the Lighthouse Terrace offers indoor and alfresco tables, with pleasing terrace views of the ocean and the property’s historical lighthouse. Light snacks, refreshments, lunches and dinners are available at the poolside bar, Water’s Edge Beach Bar, so you won’t have to wander far from the pool or beach. You can also head to the Careenage Rum Stop! – a breezy bar serving up the spirit of the Caribbean. Inside, it’s cool and air-conditioned, with tropical cocktails flowing alongside an impressive rum flight showcasing the island’s iconic Bajan blends. This bar also delivers a menu of laid-back bites, including burgers and crispy chicken wings – perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. If you're after more refreshments, head to Cuppa Cafe.
