The hotel lies close to Universal’s theme parks and you can easily reach the shops and restaurants of International Drive. The complimentary shuttle buses offer quick and easy transportation to Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal's Volcano Bay and Universal CityWalk. Orlando International Airport is about 14 miles from the resort.

The light and airy rooms echo the hotel’s coastal theme. They feature sand-toned wood flooring, crisp white walls, sunset artwork, and beach-themed cushions. Standard amenities include a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge and convenient USB outlets. After exploring Universal resort, head back to the hotel to cool down in the tropical-style pool. Tall palm trees and sun loungers encircle the pool, and there’s a children’s play area and two sandy beach zones. Poolside activities include hula hooping competitions and table tennis.

Elsewhere on the property you can keep active in the state-of-the-art fitness centre, test your gaming skills in the arcade or purchase souvenirs in the lobby’s Universal Studios Store.

Dining information

Pier 8 Market is a casual food court, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Catering for every palate, you’ll find five separate food stations and a self-serve salad bar. Those in a hurry can order takeaway items such as sandwiches, pastries, and drinks.

By the pool, order refreshments at The Oasis Beach Bar. Drinks service is offered, and the menu includes a variety of cocktails, frozen drinks, wines, beers and smoothies. Alternatively, order your favourite beverages in the Sunset Lounge, or grab a coffee in the lobby at the Starbucks coffee shop. (Must be 21+ with valid photo ID to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages).
