The resort offers an abundance of bars, restaurants, clubs and shops; head here for souvenirs. The greens of Golf Las Americas are one and a half miles away, as are the Aqualand and Siam Park water parks. Tenerife South Airport is just over 10 miles from Iberostar Waves Las Dalias.

The hotel features two large pools and one children's pool surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas, in addition to a fitness room equipped with a range of exercise machines, including treadmills, exercise bikes and muscle toning machines. You can also keep active by taking part in Pilates, step aerobics, aqua gym or Nordic walking. There’s a water sports centre close to the hotel to hire a surfboard, paddle board, kayak, sailing boat, catamaran and snorkelling equipment.
Star Camp caters for children from 0 to 17 years, with activities tailored to different ages. Little ones aged 0 to 3 can enjoy Kangaroo alongside a parent, while Monkey (for kids aged 4 to 7 years), Dolphin (for kids aged 8 to 12 years) and Eagle (for teens aged 13 to 17 years) offer changing programmes for older children.
Elsewhere, adults can retreat to the treatment space on the sun terrace for a choice of massages, available for an additional charge. There's also a whirlpool and bubbling Jacuzzi exclusively for the grown-ups (16+), too.
Dining information
Danae Restaurant is the main buffet restaurant, open every day for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with themed dinners and show cooking stations in the evening. Enjoy jalapenos and enchiladas from Mexico, beef teppanyaki from Asia and ribs with green mojo sauce and corn from the Canary Islands.
Head to the Snack Bar for hot dogs, pizza and hamburgers for lunch. Afternoon tea is served here including sandwiches, fruit and a selection of cakes and pastries. The Pool Bar is open all day for drinks and ice cream, while the Venus Lobby Bar is a great place to head for a cocktail in the evening. Diana Bar features large screen TV’s showing the latest sporting matches.
Additional information
Pool towels are available with a refundable cash deposit. For added comfort during the cooler months, the main and children’s pools are heated in winter, while heating is switched off during summer.
Please note that a dress code does apply during dinner service. Swimwear is not permitted, and gentlemen are asked to wear a T-shirt with sleeves.
