On northern Sardinia's breathtaking Costa Smeralda, Park Hotel & SPA Cala di Lepre fuses stunning scenery with a range of facilities for relaxation or activity. There are two main pools, a spa offering a wide range of services, and a kids’ club for ages 3 to 14. With two distinct areas of the resort, you can choose to stay amidst Mediterranean gardens or closer to the sea.
This resort is set in the Capo d’Orso area on mainland Sardinia, bordering the geo-marine national park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena. This national park is home to a constellation of islands surrounded by unspoilt coastline and crystal-clear seas – views of which can be seen from the resort's hillside position. Sardinia’s famous Roccia dell’Orso, or Bear Rock, is around one mile away and the popular tourist town of Palau is two miles to the east. Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is 26 miles south of the resort.
All rooms and suites are located on the ground floor, with access to a covered furnished veranda. Accommodation in the ‘Parco’ area is quieter, set among lush Mediterranean gardens and slightly further from the sea (between 400 and 600 metres distance). If you prefer to be closer to the main resort facilities, as well as the sea (between 200 and 400 metres away), opt for a stay in the ‘Golfo’ (gulf) area. All options feature Mediterranean decor, with beamed ceilings, stone floors and white walls. Golfo Superior, Parco Superior and Golfo Suite Sea View schemes feature traditional terracotta furnishings and ceilings, while Parco Suite Deluxe accommodation has more updated decor, with white ceilings to match the walls and stone-coloured furnishings.

Other facilities
The main seawater pool overlooks the coastline, surrounded by sea blue sun loungers. There’s also a children’s pool nearby and a smaller pool in the ‘Parco’ area – surrounded by flowers and shrubs. A short stroll from the main pool leads to the beach, where the hotel has three rows of sunbeds and parasols (charges apply for use of sunbeds and parasols, and this cost increases the closer you are to the sea). There’s a wooden jetty too, for overwater sunbathing.
The D’Ea Marina SPA is situated among juniper trees and plays host to a cold and heated seawater pool, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area and a gym. The spa offers a range of services, comprising of three main programmes; a Thalasso programme which uses water to revitalise the body, algae and sea mud wraps and masks to detox the body and eastern and western massages.
There’s plenty of family-friendly facilities here too, including a nursery, where you’ll find bottle feeding preparation accessories, baby foods, changing tables and pushchair hire, available on request (charges apply for pushchair hire). At the Mini-Junior Club, ages 3 to 14 years can enjoy a range of age-appropriate facilities. There’s a play area with educational activities for younger children and a choice of open-air sports such as tennis and beach volleyball (some activities are not available on Saturdays).
Dining information
Begin your day with breakfast at one of two locations, depending on where you’re staying. If you’re in the ‘Parco’ area breakfast is served at Le Terrazze, or at the main restaurant, L’Arcipelago, if you’re in the ‘Golfo’ area. L’Arcipelago also serves a ‘Brunch Mediterraneo’, a light buffet with hot pasta dishes, cold dishes and salads, as well as Mediterranean cuisine for dinner. For snacks during the day look no further than the Poolside Snack Bar, where salads and sandwiches are served close to the beach. Le Terrazze also offers candlelit dinners with panoramic views (open on select days in the summertime).
The half board package includes breakfast in your designated restaurant and dinner at L’Arcipelago. In the summer months, Le Terrazze is also open on select days and you can dine here for dinner with a supplement and reservation.
Additional information
Please note that the spa's facilities and treatments are subject to extra cost.
