Overview

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a frontier-themed, family-friendly resort, set in 750 acres of woods in Orlando, Florida. It offers rustic, cabin accommodation, six on-site dining options, an outdoor pool and complimentary resort transportation to Walt Disney World® Resort.

The resort is located on Vista Boulevard, within easy reach of Walt Disney World® Resort, Epcot and Magic Kingdom, thanks to complimentary resort transportation. Nearby golf courses include Disney's Magnolia Golf Course and Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club. Meanwhile, the nearby Bay Lake area features a marina, ranch, recreation centre and beach access. Orlando International Airport is 22 miles from The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

The 400 spacious cabins are fully furnished and include a kitchen equipped with all major appliances and living room. They also have plenty of sleep space with one double bed, bunk beds and a pull-down bed. The decks have picnic tables and grill, and you have the option to pre-order a pantry full of fresh groceries, ready for you to enjoy the moment you arrive. The cabins provide parking for one car, and furry friends are welcome here, too.

The resort features a large outdoor pool with a corkscrew waterslide and a whirlpool spa and a fort-themed water play area with child-friendly slides. The ranch is home to animals and offers pony rides, which you may want to forego to respect animal welfare. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offers six on-site dining options, including a music revue and a tavern. Trail’s End Restaurant serves a breakfast buffet featuring Mickey waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. In the evening, they serve smoked pork ribs, hand-carved roasted meats, peel-and-eat shrimp and the catch of the day.

Visit The Chuck Wagon, located in The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, for Mickey Pretzels, hot dogs and moonshine cocktails or head over to the Meadow Snack Bar for fresh salads, tasty sandwiches and light snacks. Beer and sodas are also available. Be sure to check out the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for a frontier style musical extravaganza. Crockett’s Tavern also serves up food and drink – during the summer months guests are invited to Mickey’s Backyard BBQ for delicious food and line dancing.
