Overview

Caribe Royale is a contemporary resort, with comfortable suite and villa-style accommodation, a large outdoor waterfall pool, children’s pool and play area, and three restaurants – one of which is open 24-hours. The hotel is close to many of Orlando’s main attractions and provides a spa and two-storey fitness centre – perfect for some ‘me’ time after exploring the city.

Located around one and a half miles south-east from Walt Disney World and ten miles south from Universal Studios, the hotel runs complimentary scheduled shuttles either directly to Disney Parks or to the Walt Disney World® Ticket and Transportation Centre, where you can connect to the monorail, with two services taking you to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. There's also a nightly service to Disney Springs. Orlando International Airport is 17 miles away.

Accommodation is well-equipped, each with coffee machines, microwaves, complimentary Wi-Fi, a TV in each room and a mini-fridge. There’s a large outdoor pool with a waterfall, as well as a water slide and two outdoor whirlpool tubs – reserve a cabana bed to relax in style. The hotel also has a children’s playground, a children’s splash pool and a games room with pinball machines, video games, air hockey and pool tables. A two-storey fitness centre offers spin and yoga classes in the yoga studio – there’s also an outdoor running trail with bikes for hire if you prefer cycling. Basketball, tennis and an arcade are also available onsite. Staff at the Island Spa are on hand to help you unwind after a day on your feet at the theme parks.

Dining information

For casual dining, Tropicale serves an American-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. When you’re lounging by the pool, Calypso’s provides refreshments and meals, or head indoors to Starbucks for a hot drink. Open 24-hours a day, Café 24 provides sandwiches, salads, soups and snacks whenever hunger strikes. When you’re looking for an a la carte dinner, The Venetian Chop House is a fine dining experience offering steak and seafood, reservations are recommended. In the evenings, head to Rum Bar by Bacardi for rum-based cocktails. You can take advantage of room service, available 24-hours a day.

Additional information

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) valet parking, the spa, and yoga and spin classes are unavailable until further notice. In the restaurants, buffets will be replaced with a la carte dishes. Room service may be limited, and the fitness centre and gift shop will operate at a limited capacity. You may be required to wear a face mask in indoor public areas.
