Overview
Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort is an award-winning luxury beach resort, just three miles from Mykonos Town. Pamper yourself at the spa and enjoy luxury touches including local pastries and turndown gifts. The hotel is a member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Soak in the relaxing island atmosphere in this luxurious setting. Get pampered by attentive staff on the private beach refreshingly free of noisy water sports. They’ll tend to your every whim while you relax on the white sand bringing you cold towels, bottled water, light bites and drinks. Or take a dip in a choice of two pools - one welcoming adults-only by the beach. Luxury touches include complimentary mastic liqueur, as well as a different gift every night during turndown service. The outdoor stone-built amphitheatre provides a spectacular setting for yoga and Pilates sessions, concerts and social events.
The hotel lies three miles southwest of Mykonos Town centre. Take a day cruise to the islands of Delos (two miles away) and Rineia (four miles away) and discover ancient civilisations dating back to the 6th Century BC. Head seven miles inland to explore the charming village of Ano Mera with its handsome monastery, or visit the photogenic Church of Panagia Paraportiani, three miles away. While away an afternoon in arty Little Venice with its charming houses, cafes and restaurants, three miles away. Take in the 16th Century Venetian windmills of Kato Milli, also three miles away – it’s close to the Rarity Gallery, which showcases contemporary art and photography by international and local artists. Mykonos Airport is a little over three miles away.
Rooms employ a typical Cycladic colour palette of white, blue and beige, and feature Bluetooth speakers and flatscreen TVs with DVD players. They’re decorated with stylish and streamlined mid-century-style decor. Upgrade to a Premium room to take advantage of spacious balconies and bathrooms with marble cladding and rainfall showers, or go for a Suite with whirlpool baths, steam cabins, and small infinity pools shared between two interconnecting suites.

Other facilities
Named after the Greek goddess of healing, the Althea Spa Retreat uses natural treatments inspired by ancient Greek health and beauty rituals to de-stress and restore. There’s a network of calming treatment rooms with private shady courtyards to indulge in. Working in close collaboration with award-winning designers MKV, the space has been carefully designed to maximise abundant natural light to create an environment that’s in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Treatments take place against the picturesque backdrop of Delos Island. The semi-caved thalasso pool offers a further opportunity to relax. An extensive menu of treatments has been meticulously planned blending current trends with ancient rituals, all designed to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.
There’s an outdoor tennis court and a high-tech gym to keep in shape. An expansive, heated outdoor seawater pool is dotted with fancy daybeds, soft cushions and shady pergolas and a second infinity pool is available for adults-only by the beach.
Below the spa lies the Mykonos Fitness Centre. The 85m2 facility is open 24 hours a day and has everything you need to stay in shape, including an integrated collection of Technogym cardio, strength and functional equipment. Appointments with personal trainers can be booked in advance.
Dining information
Named after the sweet wine which literally means ‘a gift from God’, Nama Restaurant & Cellar brings together gastronomy based on quality ingredients, such as herbs from the hotel garden, to create a Mediterranean and Greek-inspired all-day menu. Nama places an emphasis on sophisticated, contemporary Greek dishes that put a modern twist on many a classic plate, with plenty of fine seafood options. You can enjoy al fresco dining at breakfast, lunch and dinner, to take full advantage of the breathtaking views across the Aegean Sea towards the sacred island of Delos. The restaurant is spacious with an intentionally minimalist design and a good spread of tables both inside and outdoors.
There is also an extensive wine cellar offering a variety of excellent Greek and international wines. You can book a private sommelier-led wine-tasting experience for small groups in the hotel’s double-height wine cellar. Special events include bespoke wine classes, tastings and food and drink pairings.
Try a romantic dinner on the beach (a set-up fee applies) and listen to the cascading waves in the glow of a warming bonfire, or if booking a suite make the most of the facilities and host a private barbecue around the pool where your own personal chef will cook according to your tastes.
For further refreshments you can visit the Bolla Bar or the Pool Bar. The Bolla Bar, next door to the Lobby, is light, airy and fresh. It features a mirrored bar counter, disco balls and an extensive outdoor lounge complete with a telescope to spy views of the bay. It offers a wide range of martinis, champagnes and invigorating cocktails. Located next to the Nama Restaurant and by the pool, the Pool Bar is a more intimate affair. It offers a refreshing range of cocktails, wines and fine spirits.
