In partnership with the luxurious Swiss brand Valmont, the expansive Royal Palm Spa is home to 12 serene treatment rooms, wet and dry steam baths, a hammam, a hairdressing salon, beauty rooms, a barbershop and a nail salon. Signature wellness experiences include specialised retreats in meditation and energy work, muscle toning, Pilates, sleep therapy, detox and timeless beauty treatments. The Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, Sunshine Beach Ritual body scrub and facials are on the spa menu, as is reflexology, shiatsu and lymphatic drainage. Tranquil indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces are set amidst lush vegetation linked by shaded pathways, while a charming, thatched pavilion houses the dedicated yoga space and an inviting outdoor plunge pool.

Beyond the spa, the resort features a superb sports centre equipped with dedicated cardio, strength and multifunctional rooms, alongside tennis courts, a squash court, and padel and volleyball facilities. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy everything from windsurfing to kayaking, snorkelling, sailing, stand‑up paddleboarding and glass‑bottom-boat trips. You’ll also have access to the local 18-hole Mont Choisy Le Golf course, with daily green fees and transfers provided.

Set within the tropical gardens and sheltered beneath a thatched roof is the resort’s incredibly spacious Ti Royal kids’ club. It’s a purpose‑built haven designed exclusively for children aged between 3 to 11, featuring a dedicated shallow pool, plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas, and a full programme of supervised activities to keep little ones entertained from 09:00 until 23:00. Babysitting is available for an additional charge – 24‑hours’ notice is required, and the resort also hosts outdoor cinema sessions during special seasonal periods. For older children, a complimentary teen programme is available for ages 12 to 17, offering age‑appropriate sports and social activities.

Overlooking the bay, La Goelette serves as the hotel’s elegant signature restaurant, open for both breakfast and dinner. Buffet and a la carte options are served during breakfast, including classics such as eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine. In the evening, feast on specialities such as grilled lobster tartar in a chilled chayote veloute with crustacean oil and croutons, lamb cutlet with fresh tomatoes, basil and olive oil, or top-fried red grouper fillet with courgettes in a rouille and bouillabaisse sauce. Thin apple tart with calvados vanilla cream and tonka bean ice cream or Royal Palm crepes suzette are popular desserts.

Set beneath the shade of a magnificent badamier tree, Restaurant La Plage offers a relaxed beachfront setting that is perfect for long, leisurely lunches. The menu features a wide selection of salads, grills and local favourites, including Royal Palm salad – tomato, avocado, asparagus and palm heart in a lime dressing, Mauritian stewed octopus with shell pasta and chicken tikka skewers with tomato and coconut milk.

Head over to Asiya, the resort’s Pan‑Asian restaurant, to experience a variety of dishes from across the region, from black cod with miso sake, mushrooms and bok choy to tuna, salmon or shrimp nigiri. Make sure you save room for the irresistible chocolate mochi dessert.

Just as popular is Royal Grill’s beach buffet barbecue, held every Thursday directly on the sand under a canopy of twinkling lights and candle glow. Seawater or freshwater fish and shellfish, chicken satay, Angus rib-eye steaks, lamb chops and chicken kalia are served with white rice, a vegetable fricassee with lemon, and a tasty choice of sauces and dressings.
