db San Antonio Hotel + Spa is a Moorish inspired all-inclusive hotel, located in a popular area – close to the waterfront promenade of Qawra and a small beach. It is the second largest hotel in Malta and offers a selection of dining options and fun facilities to try, as well as an infinity adults only pool providing spectacular sea views.
The hotel is in a lively tourist area – sitting in St Paul's Bay, over from Qawra's waterfront promenade with its small beach and rocky coastline. Close to the seafront with its pubs, bars and restaurants, you are also near the trendy Cafe del Mar Beach Club with its infinity pool and party atmosphere. The local bus station is only 0.1 mile away and the Malta International airport is just over 14 miles away.
Decorated in Mediterranean colours, with Moorish-inspired furnishings and ceramics, the modern rooms have an open clothes rail for your convenience and tea and coffee facilities. Facilities are provided for everyone, from families to couples. There is an indulgent Moroccan spa 'hotel’s Pearl Spa' for over 18s with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool and a choice of massages. Adults can also make use of the rooftop infinity pool and there is a selection of sea-facing outdoor pools including an adults-only freshwater pool and a kids pool, as well as an indoor pool and a sunbathing area with sunbeds and parasols.
Activities include table tennis, aqua aerobics, darts, volleyball and team sports – and water-based activities are provided in the summer too. The New Form Fitness Centre is the leading gym in the North of Malta boasting the widest range of equipment.
Families are well catered for at the kids’ club and kids’ pool, with its slide and pirate ship. Fun doesn’t stop in the evening, entertainment includes in-house shows, live music and a mini disco.
Dining information
Gueliz Restaurant is the hotel’s main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Café Maroc offers a variety of sweet and savoury snacks throughout the day. For dinner there are six themed restaurants offering a choice of cuisine, with everything from Asian and Mediterranean, to Moroccan and local dishes.
Tagine Restaurant is a Morrocan and Indian buffet restaurant and Saboroso, serves a South American buffet year-round. While Yushan Restaurant offers an Asian buffet from May until October, Q-Zins Restaurant offers a Maltese Buffet from mid-June to mid–September. Salia is an a la carte restaurant, open July and August only and Taza Skybar is open for adults (16+) from July till mid-September, serving cocktails, and there's a pool bar.
Restaurants get busy, especially at weekends, so reservations are required, excluding the main buffet restaurant. Seasonal restaurants are subject to change and are open weather permitting.
Additional information
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) reservations are required for restaurants, bookable through digital kiosks, or by scanning a QR code on a mobile device. The kids’ club will operate outdoors only. The sauna and steam room remain closed until further notice.
