Overview

The luxurious St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort is a family-friendly property on the south-west coast of Mallorca. It features a kids’ club with two pools and a playground, an on-site holistic spa offering traditional Chinese therapies and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. In addition, the hotel boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant and 125 elegant guest rooms, each with butler service.

The resort is set in immaculate gardens, peacefully nestled between the Tramuntana Mountains and the upmarket marina of Puerto Portals, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The capital of Palma is approximately eight miles from the hotel, home to the city's major architectural landmark, Catedral de Mallorca. Wander in any direction around this historic area and you’ll find an abundance of cafes and galleries, as well as markets, churches and public squares. Portal Nous Beach and Palmanova Beach are less than a mile away, and local golf courses include the 9-hole Golf Palma Pitch & Putt and 18-hole courses Son Muntaner, Son Vida and Son Quint. These 18-hole courses are seven miles from the hotel where you also benefit from special green fees. Palma de Mallorca is the closest airport, just under 15 miles from the hotel.

The 125 luxurious rooms and suites sit within four low-rise terracotta-hued buildings, all featuring large private terraces or balconies with stunning Mediterranean or garden views. Set within the stunning grounds, providing prime views of the sea and surrounding nature, is the triple tiered cascading pool. It’s surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and is a great spot to relax with a drink from the nearby pool bar.

The Explorers Club provides kids with a daily schedule of activities to keep them occupied with sandcastle building, treasure hunts, painting, and ball games. Kids can browse and select titles from the hotel’s extensive movies, book and games library. In addition, there's a heated swimming pool, a sandpit and a playground.

The jewel in the crown is the hotel’s vast Arabella Spa which combines the best of traditional, modern, and global therapies, as well as holistic treatments using Chinese medical practices. The spa features 11 treatment rooms, Jacuzzi, dry sauna, Egyptian brine bath, hydropool, jet shower and ice cave. Their menu includes hydro baths, underwater massages, marine extract wraps and scrubs. Ayurveda, Tuina, Swedish and sport massages are also available, as are facials and skin firming treatments.

The state-of-the-art fitness centre is fully equipped with Technogym machines, from ellipticals and treadmills to stationary bikes and stair climbers. If you prefer to exercise outdoors, jog along the scenic track through the resort's lovely gardens and along the seaside.

Dining information

The hotel features two on-site restaurants – one Michelin-starred – and two bars. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the farm-to-table Terra Restaurant, where local products are prepared in a simple manner alongside ingredients from Italy and Spain. For lunch, savour a selection of tapas, starters, paellas, fish, and meat. Dishes at dinnertime include salt crusted sea bass paired with wine from the impressive wine list. Next to Terra Restaurant is the kids’ area Brisas”, where kids can enjoy their lunch in a fun environment with their new friends from the Explorers Club.

Es Fum Restaurant is the hotel’s seasonal elegant, Michelin-starred restaurant, headed by Chef Miguel Navarro. The menu delivers extraordinary seasonal culinary delights according to seasonality, using only the freshest local produce.

From June, grab light snacks and drinks throughout the day at Mar Sea Club, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Otherwise, stop by the stylish, yet informal St. Regis Bar which benefits from direct access to a stunning terrace.

Additional information

Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to access the spa’s indoor pool and fitness area. Children between the ages of 13 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Access to the sauna area is only allowed from 18 years. Beauty treatments for kids from 13 years on, are available, with access limited to the booked treatment area. The use of of swimming trunks is compulsory in all facilities and full sportswear must be worn in the fitness area.
