Relax on the hotel’s dedicated bay at Fodele Beach, where a range of sun loungers and umbrellas await on caramel sands. There are also three swimming pools, framed by picturesque bay views and sophisticated latte toned umbrellas for ultimate relaxation. If adventure takes your fancy, head to the water park and glide down multi slides, kamikaze slides and if you’re brave enough – the freefall slides. Little ones can also join in the fun at the children’s pool, where an octopus sculpture features smaller slides.

Children aged between 4 and 12 years old can continue the fun at the kids’ club. Crafts, as well as an indoor play area and outdoor playground, will keep little ones entertained. Meanwhile, older children and adults will love the jam-packed sports offerings. Perfect your serve at the two on-site tennis courts or dive into a game of volleyball. You can also enjoy mini-golf, beach football and some fabulous aqua fitness classes or water polo – if you’re feeling competitive.

For a more laidback activity, visit the Wellness Centre and pamper yourself to perfection with the range of facials and massages. Choose an Aloe Shine treatment – which is ultra-soothing during hot summer days or opt for a Hydra Face facial – a treatment that sources avocado from Chania and Cretan olive oil to moisturise and give you that coveted glow.

There is also a Fitness Room on site with Cybex and Technogym equipment, as well as bikes and treadmills.

Dining information

Whet your appetite at the restaurants on offer. Basilikos is the main restaurant and serves an all-day buffet. Choices include fresh sun-ripened fruits, local Greek delicacies like souvlaki, Spanish dishes or Mexican choices like fajitas. F All day Restaurant hosts a self-service buffet, too. Peruse the mix of enticing stations featuring fruits, bakery selections and continental breakfast choices. Mediterranean lunch choices and meals are available until 17:45.

For dinner, enjoy Italian fine dining at Ambrosia or savour Greek flavours a la carte style at Elia. If beachside dining takes your fancy, head to Frankie Beach Club. Featuring Bali beds and a gazebo with sea views, this is the perfect holiday dining spot. Sit back with a cooling mojito and fuel up with snacks or mouth-watering grilled skewers and chips during the day.

The two bars on offer spoil you with refreshments, as well as beautiful views. Starlight Bar is strategically located next to the main pool, which overlooks the vast blue bays. Let the bar staff mix up a tempting cocktail or two, while you enjoy the views. For evening drinks, venture to Breeze Bar. Admire refreshing pool views indoors on plush, modern seats or lounge on the outdoor terrace. Order a cosmopolitan here, for a sophisticated vibe.

Please note that Basilikos restaurant has a smart dress code for dinner. No swimwear, beachwear or sleeveless tops are permitted.

Starlight Bar and Frankie Beach Club are open-air venues and are only open weather permitting.
