Little ones will love the Kids’ Ark – a complete childcare centre of unique design, with a crèche for children from four months to four plus years. There's also an activities centre, for kids from five years of age, featuring water slides, table-top games and a basketball court.

Tee-off at the private nine-hole par-3 golf course with golf academy and multi-lingual P.G.A. instructor, visit the 5-on-5 football pitch with Valencia Soccer Camps tuition or enjoy a game of tennis on the two Astroturf tennis courts (tuition on-site). Access scuba diving, windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing and various other water sports at the sea sports centre or take a dip in the large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with children’s paddling pool by the resort’s own sandy beach. Mooring facilities are available.

Shoppers can browse the boutiques, jewellery shop, news stand and souvenir shop, while those wanting a place to reflect can head to the Greek Orthodox Chapel on the Cretan square of Playiada.

Dining information

An a la carte breakfast is served at Calypso Restaurant, located next to the pool, offering spectacular views across the bay. Dinner is a highlight here as the hotel boasts two internationally branded restaurants to satisfy the most demanding palates.

The Ferragamo Dining concept, Il Borro Tuscan waterfront bistro offers mouth-watering authentic dishes from Tuscany, complemented by the famous Il Borro wine, produced on the organic estate in the Tuscan countryside. The hotel also hosts an impressive Kelari wine cellar, home to a remarkable selection of Greek and international labels, providing private tastings as well as private dining for up to eight guests.

Be sure to experience the world-famous Japanese restaurant Sumosan, uniquely positioned over the sea.

Families are catered for with restaurants featuring highchairs, special menus and orders on request. The Old Mill at the Elounda Mare Hotel and Calypso at Elounda Peninsula welcome children on certain days of the week, alongside 'Toddler-Free Gourmet Evenings' when couples or families with children over ten are welcome.
