Overview

Sentido Apollo Palace is an all-inclusive hotel, lying close to Corfu’s Messonghi Beach. Built in the style of an authentic Corfiot village, this hotel offers modern rooms which are surrounded by scenic Mediterranean gardens. On the property there are three attractive pools – including an adult-only pool and family pool – as well as a gym, spa, playground and kids’ club. The hotel lies on the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Messonghi, on the south-east coast of Corfu. It’s a short stroll (around 50 metres) to the pebbly beach where you will find sunbathing spots, water sports vendors and several inviting tavernas. There are scenic walking trails nearby, while the ancient Gardiki Castle is less than four miles away. Further afield, you can explore the Venetian streets of Corfu’s Old Town, which is around 14 miles away. Corfu International Airport is just over 12 miles from the hotel.

The contemporary rooms at Sentido Apollo Palace are based in two-storey complexes. They are light and airy in design, with floor-to-ceiling windows, tiled floors and neutral colour schemes. All rooms feature a balcony or terrace with views of the Mediterranean grounds, and the bathrooms contain a shower or bathtub. Within the hotel’s attractive olive gardens, you will find three spacious swimming pools which are surrounded by sunloungers and parasols. One pool is adult-only, while the other two pools offer shallow children’s sections and water polo.

There are two restaurants and four bars at Sentido Apollo Palace. The hotel’s Main Restaurant serves an American breakfast buffet, followed by lunch with local Greek dishes and an international buffet dinner with a tempting array of desserts. Greek-themed evenings are hosted here three times a week. Enjoy the live show cooking and dine indoors or alfresco, overlooking the gardens.

A La Carte Restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. Set beside the pool, this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The menu features a choice of appetisers and fresh fish dishes, while the extensive wine list includes a regional selection.

Order refreshing drinks and ice creams from the Pool Bar, or head to the adult-only pool to try creative cocktails from the Signature Bar. Here you will also find a “healthy corner” which offers an assortment of products such as yogurt, muesli, fruit, salads and honey. Otherwise there’s the outdoor Blue Bar and the lively Disco Bar which opens from 23:00 to 1:00.

Additional information

The dress code stipulates that swimming costumes cannot be worn during meals. Gentlemen are kindly requested to enter the restaurant wearing long trousers during evening meals.
