There is never a dull moment with an infinite array of winter sports on offer. Skiers and snowboarders can choose from a combined total of 83 slick slopes, with ESF group ski lessons and private instructor sessions (at an additional cost) – ideal for both absolute beginners and pros. Go slow and steady with green or blue runs or enjoy the thrill on a red or black. Take the scenic route with 25 kilometres of cross-country ski slopes and enjoy access to 38 lifts – as well as freeride and fun zones. Stop by the Ski Pro Shop and let the professionals and mountain G.O®s guide your choice in gear. Head to the Ski Room before your session and find your boots, skis or snowboard ready and waiting in your own locker. Energise before you hit the slopes with self-serve hot drinks, juices and fresh pastries in the cosy corner. You can also walk or hike through the fresh powder on guided group trails. You’ll find a snow garden for little ones flanking the Ski Room and there’s also a dedicated area for beginner adults to learn, away from the main slopes.

Aside from the slopes, you can enjoy Yoga by Heberson with Vibhava yoga sessions and signature yoga workshops. During the colder months stretch it out in the resort’s dedicated indoor studio and when the sun is out, take to the rooftop for alfresco sessions. Work up a sweat in the modern gym and cardio training room or join an Aquadynamic™ group pool session and build your endurance. After a jam-packed day, spend your evenings socialising with friends and family – with everything from live music and DJ sets to entrancing dance and magic performances. Catch a show in the resort’s theatre or on the open-air terrace. Melt away the chill in the Club Med Spa by myBlend and unwind with tailored holistic treatments. Or sink into the warmth of the heated indoor pool flanked by loungers – little ones can make a splash with their own paddling pool here too. Several lavish Hammams and whirlpool baths also await you.

Ideal for families, the resort offers four dedicated clubs for children aged 4 months to 17 years. At Baby Club Med® tots from four months to two years can enjoy a range of sensory activities and early learning workshops – including colouring, painting and music games. There’s also a dedicated room for naps. The Petit Club Med®, for two to three year olds additionally offers showtime, a chance for little ones to create and rehearse their own show, as well as a ‘learn to ski’ course in the snow garden (at an additional cost). Serving those aged four to ten, Mini Club Med offers guided ESF group ski and snowboard lessons, evening entertainment and show time. The Teens Club caters to the older kids, aged 11 to 17, with ESF group ski and snowboarding lessons, show time and the Teens Snow Sports Programme for more advanced skiers or snowboarders. This programme allows kids to choose from a range of winter sports like mogul skiing, ski jumping, slalom and ski cross. There are also other family-friendly activities like the Club Med Amazing Family and family spa sessions available.

Le Mont Valaisan is the resort’s main restaurant offering an inspired menu, a refined wine list and sweeping views of the slopes. The four distinct areas of this restaurant are separated by pine wood partitions dressed in soft shades and rustic furnishings. You’ll also find a dedicated space reserved for families at this eatery. The San Bernardo Gourmet Lounge is an intimate spot serving up hearty dishes and gourmet light bites. Dine on the specialities of Savoie and the Aosta Valley, from fondue Savoyarde to tartiflette, on the sun-dappled terrace.

The Hannibal Bar offers a cosy salon-style retreat with its wood furnishings and crackling fireplace. Catch a show here in the evenings or head to San Bernardo Bar for cocktails. You’ll also find fine local wines on the menu here, pairing perfectly with the decadent charcuterie plates. Escape the chill and sink into the chesterfield sofas of the Zen Lounge. Picture windows overlook the Haute Tarentaise valley and the cosy corner flanking the fireplace is the ideal place to unwind with a good book.
