Located along the coastline near the Brucoli lighthouse, this resort occupies a craggy beach setting. You won't find sand here, but you will find sunbathing platforms with direct access to the calm Ionian Sea – protected from the winds by its natural bay setting. Brucoli is an understated fishing village known for its colourful boat dotted harbour and proximity to Catania and Syracuse. In Catania, which is 30 miles distance, you’ll find the bustling duomo and surrounding piazza, in the shadow of Mount Etna. In Syracuse, 25 miles away, explore a multitude of ancient Greek ruins at the city’s archaeological site and wander the Baroque piazzas and narrow streets of Ortigia Island. Vincenzo Bellini Catania Airport is 30 miles north.
Laid out in an almost geometric pattern, the pale honey resort buildings are connected by stepped pathways and an abundance of greenery, from palms to climbing shrubs, cocooning the resort. Plaster-pink hued rooms and suites are contemporary with a rustic touch, incorporating jute rugs, wicker chairs and textured artwork. Standard rooms are the smallest and Superior accommodation offers a little more space, with the option to upgrade for sea views. Deluxe rooms are larger still, with upgrades providing swim-out access to a shared pool. Junior Suites provide more room, as do Suites.

Other facilities
The main infinity pool overlooks the rocky beach and sea, and is surrounded by a terracotta sun deck, complete with blue and white striped umbrellas shading white sun loungers. A kids’ pool provides space for young ones to splash about and descend the curving waterslide – under lifeguard supervision. Meanwhile, adults can venture to the Quiet Adults Pool for a calmer dip.
When you’re not soaking in the Sicilian sun, the wellness centre provides Ayurvedic treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures to complement your holiday zen. A fitness centre with Technogym equipment looks out to lush greenery, while an outdoor gym, tennis and padel courts mean you can work out outside, too.
Younger guests are thoughtfully catered for by Worldwide Kids, the resort's trusted, international childcare partner. There's a dedicated creche for babies aged four months to three years, and a lively kids’ club for ages 4 to 12 – packed with creative and sporting activities. Evening sessions add extra fun, while teenagers aged 13 to 17 have their own social club and activity programme, too.
Dining information
Mediterra is the resort’s main restaurant, open for all-day dining. Additional dining options include Scausu, proffering fresh ingredients for lunch and dinner, Donna Floriana, where you’ll find Sicilian dishes, Kaigan, serving local seafood sushi and Al Grano Pizzeria, providing authentic pizzas.
For refreshments, choose from the Riva’s Pool Bar or Lime Bar, both surrounded by greenery. In the evenings, find local specialities alongside international drinks at Kaigan’s Bar.
