Take your pick from four freshwater pools, the newest of which consists of wading pool loungers surrounded by a wooden deck and bar area. There are submerged sun beds and plenty of cabanas and umbrellas for shade. You can also use the pool at the neighbouring Tamarijn All Inclusive Aruba hotel. For children aged 4 to 12 there’s a kids’ club with lots of games and activities. 

Get active in or on the water with an activity centre at Tamarijn offering snorkelling equipment, pool floats, board games and more. Explore the local area on an electric mountain bike. Work up a sweat in the fitness centre – a stunning building on the beach with its own 30-foot outdoor climbing wall. Each day you’ll find a great line-up of activities, from yoga and Zumba classes to beach olympics and pool volleyball. As evening falls, prepare for an array of live entertainment including circus performances, steel drum bands, salsa lessons, movie nights and more.

Savour breakfast, lunch and themed dinners at Pelican Terrace. This restaurant has replaced the traditional buffet with made-to-order live cooking stations, which include a rotisserie and carving station, dessert station and a smoothie bar. Additionally for lunch you can grab relaxed dishes from Coco Grill & Bar or the Sandpiper Bar – or for a brick oven pizza head over to Pizza per Tutti at the Tamarijn All Inclusive Aruba hotel. Devour a grilled feast at Red Parrot and try the coconut shrimp with banana curry dipping sauce. Sip sangria and margaritas, alongside tortillas and tacos at the colourful Pure Lime restaurant, or drink in the fragrant aromas of Asian cooking at Ginger.

The bars will leave you spoilt for choice, sip a relaxed poolside cocktail or enjoy a chilled sunset drink on the beach. Ask the friendly bar staff for a local Aruba Ariba cocktail, made with vodka, rum, banana liqueur, orange brandy and added coecoei – an agave sap found only in Aruba.
