You have a choice of three pools here – each are surrounded by palm trees, sea views and plenty of grey sun loungers. Once you’ve chilled out by the pool, head to the Salux Thalasso Spa. This tranquil oasis boasts a heated indoor thermal pool, a cold pool and a Jacuzzi. To top it off, you can unwind in the Turkish Bath or let your troubles drift away in the Finnish sauna. For a full-on pampering session, opt for a Swedish massage or the relaxing getaway body ritual, which uses lots of lavender.

The on-site gym houses treadmills and cross trainers, and the Padel courts are available for friendly games. Kids’ activities are also thrown into the mix with the Mini Club. Here, little ones can unleash their creativity with painting and crafts, or work off some energy with the treasure hunts and sports games.

Dining information

Four restaurants and two bars offer plenty of mouthwatering choices. Veranda Restaurant has an all-day buffet with Mediterranean and international favourites, like pasta and grilled chicken. There is also a live show cooking station, whipping up omelettes for breakfast.

For a taste of Mediterranean cuisine, Product-O Restaurant has you covered for lunch and dinner. Enjoy paella – a true holiday favourite, or head to La Palapa restaurant, where more well-loved local dishes await. Here you can sample black rice paella, tapas plates and the much-awaited fish of the day. Wash it all down with a glass of cava or two, or pair your dish with a Bobal Blanco – a white wine hailing straight from the local Valenciana region. If Asian fusion cuisine whets your appetite, head to Kitsume Restaurant. This eatery prides itself on dishes, like pad Thai and ceviche. Plus, the kasutado dessert offers plenty of temptation with black sesame custard, coffee crumble and lychee.

Meanwhile, the Lobby Bar tantalises you with wine, daiquiris and martinis. Plus, there are a range of snacks and sandwiches to hold you over. Don’t miss the mocktails on offer, or the signature Mediterranean Sun made with gin, Midori, strawberry and cinnamon. Alternatively, swim up to the Oasis Bar in the centre of the pool, where juice, beer and more concoctions are served. You can also take advantage of room service.
