Overview

This small, family-friendly hotel is situated in the typified Venetian Santa Croce district, facing the Grand Canal, Constitution Bridge and Piazzale Roma. Its architecture combines the old and the new, with the main building revealing its 500-year history dating back to an ancient monastry, and in stark contrast a modern building adorned in white marble.

This is the only hotel in Venice's historical centre you can reach by car (right to the front door) and the only one with a private car park. Water taxis, buses and car taxis can be reached outside the hotel. Or you can take a leisurely stroll to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square, located just over a mile away. It's also within easy reach of the train station, across the Grand Canal – Padova, Vicenza, Verona, Treviso are all less than an hour away.

Guest rooms are attractively furnished with silk wallpaper and wooden floors and are appointed with large TV screens, W-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Ensuite bathrooms promote chromotherapy and feature a bath or shower, occasionally both, and include hairdryers. The views can vary depending on the room you choose – Deluxe City View, Deluxe Small Canal View or Deluxe Grand Canal View. Unusually for Venice, you can be certain it won't be just a street view.
