Patina is located on a reclaimed four island archipelago in the North Male Atoll. The island is reached by a luxury boat transfer from Velana International Airport. Sharing the island and available to guests is Fari Marina Village, home to an exclusive beach club with private yacht parking, boutiques and a plethora of exquisite art collections. There’s also a library, billiard table and trendy bar.
Earthy palates and biophilic design give an outdoorsy feel to these villas, while floor-to-ceiling windows can be slid open to expose three walls to bring the outside in. Depending on your villa, you’ll walk out onto the beach or to a overwater deck where you’ll find a small pool, hammock and a stand-alone bathtub to luxuriate in the views. Farine offers wine tasting and laid-back charcuterie while Roots, with its jungle views, offers a plant-based menu. For light bites and cocktails on the beach, Veli Bar is by the main pool and there are three food trucks for eating on the go – Go Go Burger, Tuk Tuk Gelato for free ice cream and Tum Tum for street food inspired by all regions of Asia. Lastly the Fari Beach Club, located in Marina Village, is an exquisite beach bar overseen by Michelin star chef Nick Brill.
