Overview

The stylish, minimalist OKU Ibiza, on Ibiza’s north west coast, lies on the outskirts of San Antonio, within easy walking distance to Cala Gracio’s golden beach. During your stay, you can attend daily rooftop yoga sessions, book soothing spa treatments and delight in unique culinary experiences at two on-site restaurants. The hotel also boasts two outdoor swimming pools, including an Olympic-size pool.

The hotel sits around 500 metres from the edge of Cala Gracio Bay and around half a mile from the restaurants and clubs in San Antonio’s bustling centre. The San Antonio Sunset Strip is also just over half a mile away, lined with cafes and bars. Ibiza's city centre and Ibiza Airport lie just over ten miles south of the property.

The 189 bohemian-styled rooms are decorated in warm earthy tones and feature natural materials like rattan, hessian, oak wood and stone. Large glass doors fill the rooms with natural light and open onto a private balcony. You can book a swim-up pool room to enjoy a private terrace with direct access to a secluded pool (shared with five neighbouring swim-up rooms). There are also spacious Junior Suites with a comfortable lounge space, and an upgraded bathroom with a rainfall shower and separate stone bathtub.

Begin the day with an energising yoga lesson in the rooftop’s yoga shala, or book a personal training session for a supplementary charge. You can also head to the modern fitness centre, where you’ll find stylish, wood-effect NOHrD and Cassall equipment.

After working out, kick back by one of the pools. There’s the large main pool for adults only, where you can relax under palapa-style umbrellas and listen to the resident DJ’s music as the sun goes down. The family-friendly pool is surrounded by wooden decks, lined with tropical plants and plush bean bags.

Retreat to the adult-only spa, which has five treatment rooms and a couple’s suite. You can book a range of specialist spa treatments here, including those that incorporate local island ingredients and age-old holistic techniques (at an additional charge).

The concierge team can organise activities around the island for a supplementary charge, including boat excursions, sunset kayaking trips and guided hikes. Babysitting service is also available at an extra cost, payable locally.

Dining information

OKU Ibiza has two restaurants and two bars. Savour a nourishing breakfast at the To Kima Restaurant, located next to the pool, before ordering fresh salads, Mediterranean-inspired dishes and snacks at lunchtime, all made with fresh local produce.

OKU Restaurant specialises in Japanese fusion cuisine. Open for dinner only, this restaurant’s a la carte menu includes tapas-style dishes, grilled vegetables, succulent meats, fresh seafood, salads and a selection of sashimi, nigiri and sushi. The restaurant also caters for vegetarian and vegan diners.

The Juice Bar serves healthy smoothies and freshly squeezed juices in the day, while OKU Bar offers a variety of drinks and cocktails beside the main pool, accompanied by DJ music.
