The hotel is located on the south-eastern coast of Sicily, less than eight miles from the must-see city of Syracuse, known for its rich history, culture, ancient ruins and charming old town. It is spread across approximately 65 hectares, only a few hundred metres away from the Mediterranean Sea. Local areas of interest include the cities of Noto, Modica, Taormina, Agrigento and Ortigia, with its baroque architecture. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is approximately 46 miles from the hotel, while Palermo Airport is 184 miles away.
VOI Arenella Resort features 430 rooms, arranged across low-rise buildings. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, a private entrance, complimentary toiletries and satellite TV. Classic rooms measure between 23-34 m2 and overlook the surrounding gardens, whereas Superior rooms offer between 28-34 m² and benefit from a reserved table at Aretusa Restaurant, one umbrella and two sunbeds per room reserved on the first, second and third row of the beach, beach towels, tea and coffee making facilities and access to the wellness centre.

VOI Arenella Resort features three swimming pools – two outdoor pools with a shallow children’s area and one adult-only indoor pool. You can take a short walk or ride the complimentary shuttle to the beach, and spend your day relaxing on the loungers or dipping in the shallow water, which is perfect for little ones.
There is a large sports area which is equipped with two boules courts, a tennis court and two five-a-side football pitches – and windsurfing, catamaran, diving and sailing courses in the sea. Adults can enjoy the benefits of the Carissa Wellness Centre, which features a pool, relaxation area, sauna, Jacuzzi and hammam, while children are welcome at Voila Baby, Voila Kids and Young Club (open for teenagers between 13 – 17).
In addition, the resort permits small pets who are provided with a kennel and bowl and can spend recreational time in the dog park.
Dining information
There are three on-site restaurants at VOI Arenella Resort. The main restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and features show cooking and themed evenings. It’s located in the centre of the resort, with panoramic views across the gardens and mostly Mediterranean fare, including a range of local and regional dishes and organic and vegan options. Aretusa Restaurant offers a specially prepared chef’s menu for dinner service. For snacks during the day, head over to The Taste Bar, where you’ll find beautifully prepared Sicilian dishes including homemade ice cream, cannoli, cassatine and arancini, complemented by organic red and white wines.
