DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh - Sharks Bay Resort is a great family-friendly hotel, situated along a beautiful stretch of coastline, in the secluded cove of Sharks Bay. It offers three fantastic outdoor pools, a private beach, a large buffet restaurant and an a la carte option, as well as five bars. Accommodation is spacious, plus there’s an on-site fitness centre and tennis and paddle courts.
The resort is located on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, known for its warm, clear waters and excellent dive sites, teeming with exotic fish and colourful reefs. Ras Um Sid is one such site, while the world-famous SS Thistlegorm shipwreck is a must-see, both approximately 14 miles away. Aside from the underwater world, there’s plenty to explore in the South Sinai Desert, around 128 miles north. Embark on a sunrise hike to Mount Sinai, followed by a visit to the beautiful religious site of Saint Catherine’s Monastery. The Old Market is approximately 12 miles away, after which you can unwind with a cool drink at one of the many rooftop bars as the sun sets behind the Sinai Mountains. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is just under five miles away.
