Cala Ponte Hotel has an excellent reputation, providing the perfect setting for relaxing in style or staying active. Regular hosts for the Cala Ponte Triweek and Polignano a Mare’s Red Bull high diving championships, you’ll be in good company with a choice of two pools, a five-a-side football pitch, a floodlit tennis court and a wellness spa to rejuvenate.

Cala Ponte Hotel enjoys a prime location, enticing you to enjoy the best of Puglia with its proximity to the historic town of Polignano a Mare and the charming fishing bay of San Vito, under two miles away. Or the popular town of Conversano is less than eight miles. Bari airport can be reached in around 30 miles and Brindisi airport is just over 50 miles away. There is a secure car park in the gated grounds, so we recommend hiring a car to explore this beautiful region.

58 guest rooms are scattered across five areas, surrounded by fragrant gardens and ancient olive trees. Deluxe Terrace and Deluxe Spa rooms, Junior Suites and Executive Suites are located in the main building, close to the reception and restaurant. Each of the four external blocks have 12 rooms – choose between Deluxe rooms with garden views or those situated closer to the pools. Junior Suites are ideal for families, as they comprise of two rooms and the bathroom has a generous walk-in shower, Italian toiletries and fluffy white towels. Or if you prefer to overlook the Cala Ponte Marina choose to stay in the Executive room.

There are two swimming pools; the main pool, beneath the dining terrace, can be a little livelier and offers gently sloping shallows. For a more tranquil spot, opt for the upper pool and take in the famed views across an ancient trulli and imposing stone fort walls.

You can enjoy a game of five-a-side football, or head over to the floodlit tennis court – rackets and balls are available at reception. Take a stroll down to the hotel’s private marina, where you can book a boat trip to take you out along the craggy cliffs towards Polignano a Mare. As the sun sets the pool is lit up, so you can enjoy an evening cocktail in its midst.
