Alua Village Fuerteventura is a smart, all-inclusive property, nestled on the southern end of the island in the quiet area of Esquinzo. The hotel features two large outdoor swimming pools, a dedicated children’s pool and an indoor pool, a spa, fitness area and a kids’ club. There’s a great choice of rooms (with added benefits at My Favorite Club level) and several dining options, all part of the all-inclusive plan.
The hotel is located on the Jandia Peninsula, known for some of the most stunning beaches on the island. The property itself overlooks the coastline and access to the beautiful stretch of Esquinzo-Butihondo beach is via the path beside the hotel (which can be a little steep for some). The town centre of Jandia is around four miles away, offering a good selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. Don’t forget to stop by the popular Punta de Jandia Lighthouse, which provides the perfect photo spot thanks to its panoramic views. Elsewhere, Jandia Nature Reserve is approximately 20 miles from the hotel, representing an excellent (and contrasting) example of Canarian nature. Fuerteventura Airport is 48 miles away.

There’s a great selection of facilities to keep the whole family occupied, including two spacious outdoor pools, a separate kids’ pool and an indoor pool. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols are provided plus there’s a lovely sundeck that faces the ocean, furnished with Bali beds (at an extra charge). Get involved in Pilates, tennis, volleyball and boules or head to the fitness centre which is equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes and free weights. During school holidays, kids will be entertained at Astro Club while parents can indulge in a treatment at the wellness centre. There’s a full menu to choose from including body treatments, massages and facials as well as two saunas, a steam bath and Jacuzzi.

There are two on-site restaurants and two bars, the main one being Terra Cafe Restaurant, serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner from a variety of local and international cuisines. Mare Nubium is the hotel’s a la carte Mediterranean restaurant, open for dinner only, while snacks and drinks can be picked up all day at Kentia Pool Bar. In the evening, stop by Bar Village for a drink, catch a show or listen to live music.
