Step into the tranquil surrounds at Al Messila Spa and you’re a world away. Built around a natural oasis, this spa is one of the largest of its kind in the region. Home to 27 treatment rooms, eight treatment suites, a salon, a beauty clinic and a dedicated retail boutique, it’s bliss. Female guests can unwind in the extensive Ladies Wellness Retreat, while a separate six-room men’s zone provides massages, facials and tailored express treatments.

Over at the Al Messila Health Centre, light glints off the surface of the indoor heated pool. Bathed in natural light from the ceiling and vast windows, sleek loungers line the water’s edge. Just outside, the show-stopping Grand Pool awaits. Set against the resort’s palace-like facade, it’s dotted with palm islands, and surrounded by sunbeds and private cabanas. Complimentary beach access is also available with shuttles ready to whisk you to the sands. Complimentary shuttles also run to and from four top local attractions throughout the week, so you can explore beyond the resort.

Head back to the Al Messila Health Centre so you never miss a workout. Fully equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength training machines. Plus, there’s a fitness studio for group or personal sessions. Outdoors, follow one of two scenic jogging tracks that wind through the gardens or hit one of the three padel courts. Two indoor squash courts also await. You’ll even find an on-site shop for equipment or last-minute extras.

The Little Explorers' Kids Club is set in a bright, welcoming space where little ones can enjoy a mini-gym, engaging indoor play zones and a large outdoor playground. Each day features a roster of supervised activities, from movie sessions and crafting to treasure hunts. Budding chefs can even get creative in the MasterChef Food Lab.

Deli Kitchen is the resort’s all-day dining space, where international favourites are reimagined with flair. Stop by for a light bite or a multi-course meal with buffet breakfasts, and a la carte lunches and dinners. For something more refined, Parisa offers a bold take on Persian cuisine. This contemporary space is perfect for long lunches, elegant dinners and Friday brunches. Spiced, delicate dishes and signature favourites are served in style. Meanwhile, over at Taj Rasoi, you’ll find all the colour of classic Indian fare, with an ever-changing array of deliciously crafted dishes. Expect fragrant curries, delicate breads and rich tandoori flavours in a quietly opulent setting.

Dressed in soft Arabian elegance, Al'amma sits just off of the lobby and works perfectly for leisurely sips. You’ll find freshly brewed coffee, tea infusions and flaky pastries on the menu here. Elixir is the resort’s resident cocktail lounge, offering a more intimate, moody feel. Linger in the afternoons and soft-lit evenings with a cocktail or something stronger. Poolside, Wa'ha is a casual terrace spot nestled in the botanical gardens. Order from a menu of international and Mediterranean light bites, paired with refreshing drinks – including non-alcoholic options.
