You can relax around the family-friendly pool or sink into one of two exclusive adult-only pools. There's nearly two and a half acres of gardens to explore and the resort’s shopping avenue provides boutiques and a hair salon. Guests ages 4 to 12 can join the Barcy Club to participate in arts, magic, theatre, science and dance activities.

Adults also have access to the Spa and Wellness Centre at the neighbouring Royal Hideaway Corales Beach (16+). It features seven cabins, a boutique and a hydrotherapy circuit with waterfalls, steam baths, a sauna and sensation showers. Sculpt your skin with a 3D Collagen Shock Facial – or detoxify it with prebiotic products during a Diamond Cocoon Experience. Don’t forget to treat your body, too – the Corales Supreme Ritual is a signature treatment using seaweed, plus bamboo to exfoliate and release tension. There’s also a 24-hour fitness centre, exercise classes, cocktail and food masterclasses and cultural activities for adults here, too. The hotel's concierge can also arrange bookings if you're wanting to head to the nearby golf courses for a round on the fairways (for an additional charge).

El Rincon de Juan Carlos Restaurant, perched 40 metres above the sea, is your go-to for perfect wine pairings and stunning sea views. Boasting two Michelin stars, it’s elegant and elevated, serving sensational signature dishes which blend the best of local harvests and international ingredients. Then there’s San Ho, serving plates built on the island’s finest home-grown fare and finished with a bold, contemporary flourish – it’s no surprise that this spot also holds a Michelin Star. Il Bocconcino brings Italian romance to the Atlantic. This eatery marries timeless technique with modern flair. Expect handmade pastas and fresh-from-the-market produce lining the menu. Seating opens out onto volcanic gardens and sweeping sea views. For something more relaxed but still tasty, Starfish Atlantic Grill serves up honest, thoughtful flavours just steps from the shore. Enjoy a front-row seat to La Gomera glowing on the horizon and a menu of freshly sourced seafood, prime cuts and seasonal produce. Over at La Trattoria, it’s all risotto, focaccia and wood-fired pizza – perfect for sharing under the stars. Even breakfast is beautiful here and served in the sunshine at Olivia Mediterranean Market. You'll find La Gelateria serving up Italian ice creams, pancakes and sweet bites when you're ready.

Two lovely pool bars await, too, serving up refreshments between dips. One you'll find one at Royal Hideaway Corales Suites and the other at sister property, Royal Hideaway Corales Beach – Adults Only. Maresia Atlantic Bar is the Royal Hideaway Corales Suites' rooftop bar. This spot serves up stunning views of La Gomera and signature Canary Island cocktails – crafted entirely with local, homegrown ingredients.

Gala dinners held on Christmas Eve (25 December) and New Years Eve (31 December) include a delicious buffet style dinner accompanied by complimentary drinks throughout the meal. Please note that post-dinner drinks will not be included.
