East Winds - St Lucia

Rodney Bay is under four miles north of East Winds – for shops, restaurants and bars, while the bustling capital of Castries is four and a half miles south of the resort. Local souvenirs, fresh island produce and crafts can be purchased at the large, open-air Castries Market, open every day except Sundays. Or head out on a catamaran cruise to view the iconic Pitons – Petit Piton and Gros Piton. Boat tours generally arrive during the early hours or around sunset, when these majestic, twin volcanic spires rising out of the sea are best seen. Hewanorra International Airport is approximately 37 miles from the hotel.

The hotel offers just 30 attractive cottages, set among the tropical vegetation, each with a private, shaded furnished terrace or patio. You are provided with tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge which is refreshed daily with soft drinks and beers. The decor is characteristic of typical Caribbean hotels, with dark wooden furniture, terracotta tiled flooring, vaulted ceilings and fans – with throws, pillows and flowers providing a splash of colour. Most rooms overlook the pool or gardens while Superior Cottages offer spectacular sea views and are set closer to the yoga pavilion and restaurant.
