The resort is set amidst stunning, tropical gardens and offers around 400 metres of white-sand beachfront. Spend your days sunbathing under swaying palm trees or snorkelling in crystal waters, around the pier. In between relaxing, take part in a range of fun activities, including beach volleyball, giant chess and water aerobics sessions. There are also four pickleball courts, two tennis courts and non motorised water sports.

If your idea of a relaxing holiday is a little less action-packed, unwind by the pool. An additional pool is available for Preferred Club guests. Alternatively, head to the luxurious spa which is home to a Swedish sauna, steam room and pressure showers. Choose from an indoor or ocean front massage or indulge in a hydro massage treatment. In the evenings, try your luck at the casino, watch big screen movies or enjoy live music and shows.

The hotel’s excellent reputation for choice extends to its six restaurants. Spices Market is the buffet-style venue which serves daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. Offering a variety of internationally inspired dishes, this restaurant also hosts classics themed buffet nights. Later in the day, savour local seafood and grilled specialities at Coastal restaurant with a deck overlooking the water, or order freshly prepared pizzas from Pizzeria. You can also head to Tres Hermanas for light snacks and premium coffees. For a la carte dining, there’s the French restaurant, Moustache, the elegant Italian restaurant, Maravento and the Beachside Grill. Otherwise, Ausangate specialises in tempting South American cuisine (be sure to try the succulent, fillet steak).

Enjoy refreshing drinks and cocktails all around the property, whether it’s at the lobby bar, swim-up bar, pool bar, Scores Sports Bar or Barefoot Beach Bar. On the Rocks is another place to enjoy sundowners, with calming views across the Caribbean Sea. The Club Lounge, which is offered exclusively to Preferred Club guests, serves light bites, drinks and coffees.
