Universal Aventura Hotel lies across the road from Universal Volcano Bay, less than 500 metres away. A walking path leads directly to the water theme park’s entrance and the complimentary shuttle buses will transport you to and from: Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe and Universal CityWalk. A main motorway runs past the hotel, connecting you to Orlando International Airport, which is around 15 miles away.
The rooms are modern and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass panels which divide the bedroom and bathroom spaces. The design is minimalist, with a simple grey and white colour palette and light wood furnishings. Rooms are equipped with a coffee maker, mini-fridge and high-tech tablet device that you can use to control your TV, lighting and room temperature (or order pizza). Kids’ suites are available for families, offering separate sleeping areas.

Head to the rooftop Bar 17 Bistro before sunset to witness panoramic views across the Universal Orlando Resort. The drinks menu here features crafted cocktails, mocktails and frozen drinks – and you can order a selection of small-plate delights such as bao buns with firecracker shrimp. Drinks are also served at the poolside Bar Sol or at the hotel’s lobby bar, barVentura. Elsewhere in the lobby, you will find a Starbucks® which offers premium coffee, tea and fresh snack items.
