Aside from the tranquil beach area, the resort features three outdoor, freshwater pools. There’s a relaxed lagoon style pool, surrounded by a tiled area with padded wooden loungers and umbrellas, as well as a smaller, shallow kids' pool. Little ones will also love the Sheraton Adventure Club, available for children aged 4 to 12 years old, providing a dedicated activity space, playground and small adventure course. In addition, Sheraton’s signature family programme ‘Side by Side’ includes picnics, mother and child spa days and cooking classes.

Complimentary, non-motorised water sports include windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, banana boat riding and snorkelling, while the dive centre, (located on the far corner of the island, next to the welcome pavilion) can provide guided dives. The 24-hour fitness centre offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment, free weights and yoga sessions – plus there’s tennis and ping-pong to enjoy. The full-service Shine Spa for Sheraton is truly a rejuvenating haven, located on its own private island, connected to the resort by a wooden footbridge. It offers a wide range of holistic treatments that range from traditional aromatherapy and ayurvedic massages to locally inspired deep ocean therapies.

The resort features seven on-site restaurants, offering a range of international cuisine to satisfy every palate. Breakfast is served at Feast, under a Cajun thatch coconut roof, where chefs prepare made-to-order dishes at live cooking stations. Visit again in the evening for themed dinners and live entertainment. Lunch options include Kakuni Hut for Caribbean inspired food on the beach, Anchorage Bar for a light meal, ChopstiX for a late lunch with homemade dumplings and satisfying noodle bowls, or Masala Hut for classic dishes such as chicken tikka. With the exception of Kakuni Hut, each restaurant is also open for dinner. Families will also enjoy dinner at Masala Hut for a relaxed meal, shared among all family members. The oceanside Sea Salt restaurant and more formal Baan Thai are also open for dinner. Sea Salt is the perfect, alfresco setting for seafood – a $60 dining credit per person (food only) applies when dining in Baan Thai and Sea Salt. Be sure to try the Seafood Furanafushi, the restaurant’s classic seafood platter or for something special, Baan Thai is a must.
