The beautifully landscaped grounds encompass specialised areas for children, families and adults only. There are nine heated indoor and outdoor pools dotted around the resort. One of the stunning outdoor pools lies just steps away from the beach, and there’s an adult-only pool, a children’s splash pool and an indoor spa pool for those over the age of 16. You can also unwind on the beachfront with attentive waiter service and pool childcare (for up to 30 minutes), at no extra cost.
The cooling waters of the Mediterranean Sea invite you to bathe or ride the waves with some canoeing (one hour per person, per stay is included). Otherwise, you can take a pedalo out on the water each day or book a private boat tour or yacht rental for a supplementary charge.
Back on land, there are a variety of sports facilities, including badminton and tennis courts, a cardio training room and a fitness studio at the spa. You can explore the surrounding areas by bike, sign up for a fitness class (including Zumba and beginners’ yoga) or head to the activity pool for an aqua aerobics session. For those eager to explore, the resort also offers complimentary electric-vehicle rentals, with one day included for standard guests and two days for those in Deluxe Collection accommodation.
The family can enjoy the full entertainment and activity programmes, including those at supervised clubs for kids and teenagers. Creative activities, sports and all things fun make up the exceptional line-up – and children can look forward to the mini disco or karaoke in the evenings. The Football Academy (for kids between 18 months and 4 years old) is bookable for an extra charge, and so is the creche, which provides expert childcare for those between ages of six months and three years old. In the evenings, book your little ones (aged 4 to 12) in at the Heroes Supper Club (additional charge and subject to availability). Whilst here, they’ll enjoy tasty buffet bites, followed by some supervised, post-dinner playtime.
The Ikos Spa is an oasis of calm with a dedicated relaxation zone and a heated indoor pool and a Jacuzzi. Book a revitalising facial or massage delivered by expert therapists in a private treatment room with products by Anne Semonin. Before your massage, you can warm your muscles in the steam room or sauna, and afterwards, you can complete your pampering session at the beauty salon.

Savour delectable Greek dishes beside the sea at Ouzo or visit the elegant Fresco restaurant to sample fine Italian fare, made with the freshest ingredients. Anaya’s a la carte creations capture the flavours of Asia, while Provence focuses on the gastronomy of south-eastern France. You can also feast on Spanish-inspired dishes at Oliva, overlooking the picturesque pools and gardens – and on a clear day, you can even spot Morocco and Gibraltar in the distance. Plus, if you’re staying in a Deluxe Collection room, you’ll have exclusive access to the Seasons Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For a more laidback dining experience, head to the vibrant Beach Club, where you can order classic international fare and sunset cocktails. Alternatively, relish sumptuous Mediterranean dishes at the buffet style restaurant, Flavors, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving hot and cold dishes. Chiringuito is an exclusive beach venue serving a selection of tapas and espetos, including Malaga’s tradition of grilled fresh fish.
