US optional services
As a full service airline your ticket price includes most things you'll need for your journey, but there are a few things that we charge extra for. Below gives you a summary of these optional services.

Available optional services
Promotional upgrades
British Airways on occasion may offer promotional upgrades, either through Manage My Booking or on departure at the airport.
Should an upgrade promotion be available, the price offered will be between $79-$1299.
Charges and service fees
When you book, change, cancel or refund your ticket you may be charged a fee. This may also apply to redemption bookings.
Service fees for Executive Club members may differ.
行李
Your free baggage allowance will depend on your ticket type and travel class, but you can also take extra baggage for a fee.
If your bag is larger or heavier than the free baggage allowance, you may also be charged extra.
座位安排
You may choose your seat for free from 24 hours before your flight departs.
Alternatively, you can book your seat when you first make your booking for an extra fee.
体检合格证
In many cases, you can fly with a medical condition, but sometimes you will need to gain medical clearance before you fly. If a medical escort or supplementary oxygen are required when travelling, there will be a charge.
宠物
Your pet must be booked as cargo and travel in the hold. The charges for transporting pets will vary based on the size of container needed, the weight of your pet and the distance travelled. Our charges will be quoted when you reconfirm your flights.
