Flights to Rhodes

Rhodes Town is about 30 minutes from the airport by taxi, and the island itself is easy to get around. There’s an extensive bus network on both the roads and the water, or you can hop in a taxi or water taxi to get you from A to B. You can pay by card, but many small businesses prefer cash.

The largest island in the Dodecanese is a vibrant mix of old and new, from the ancient ruins of Kamiros to the recently renovated Modern Greek Art Museum. If you want an adventure, the small island of Tilos lies off the northwest coast and is well worth a day trip. Fewer than a thousand people live here, so you’ll be able to explore the secluded beaches and Medieval villages and castles without the crowds. Cat lovers will also find lots of new friends in Rhodes, as strays are lovingly looked after by locals throughout the year. 

If you travel to Greece with a valid British passport and stay for less than 90 days, a visa is not required. If you’re from a country outside the EU, you may need to apply for a visa in advance of your trip.
