Terms and conditions
1. The benefits described in these Terms and Conditions are available only to the cardmembers of the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card whose credit account is active and not in default.
2. Cardmembers may provide their British Airways Club (“BAC”) membership number during the card application process to receive Avios. If the cardmember is not already a member, they will be automatically enrolled in the BAC during the card application process and must accept the BAC’s Terms and Conditions. Avios will be credited to the cardmember’s BAC account and will not be awarded retrospectively for transaction made prior to successful enrolment and validation.
3. Avios earned through the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card can only be credited to one British Airways Club account only that is linked to the registered card member. The account holder names for both the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card and British Airways Club account must match.
4. Avios will only be awarded on purchases made using the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card that are successfully posted to the cardmember’s account (“Eligible Purchases”).

6. Cardmembers will be charged a INR 10,000 joining fee will be charged when the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card is issued.
7. An annual fee of INR 5,000 will apply from the second year onwards and will be charged on the card anniversary date each year.
8. 9. A one-time welcome bonus of 20,000 Avios will be awarded to the member during the first year of membership
10. The one-time welcome bonus will be credited to the cardmember’s British Airways Club account within fifteen (15) days after the joining fee has been successfully charged and payment received by IndusInd Bank.
11. An additional renewal bonus of 5,000 Avios will be awarded each year upon renewal of the card, when the applicable annual fee is successfully charged and paid.
12. Avios will not be awarded if the card account is closed, suspended, or in default before the relevant fee is charged.
13. Cardmembers will earn a milestone bonus of 18,000 Avios when Eligible Purchases made using the card reach INR 800,000 within a single card membership year. A further 18,000 Avios will be awarded when Eligible Purchases reach of INR 1,600,000 within the same card membership year.
a. The maximum milestone bonus available in any card membership year is of 36,000 Avios.
b. Milestone bonus Avios will be credited to the cardmember’s BAC account within ten (10) days after the billing statement in which the qualifying spend threshold is achieved.
14. Cardmembers will earn 6 Avios for every INR 200 spent on Eligible Purchases in eligible Point of Sale transactions made in the cardmember’s selected preferred international travel destination. A list of destinations can be found here.
a. The preferred international travel destination must be selected at the time of card application and may be subject to change in accordance with IndusInd Bank policies.
b. Avios will be credited to the cardmember’s BAC account within ten (10) days following statement generation and transferred to the British Airways Club account in the subsequent billing cycle.
c. Avios can only be earned on transactions up to the cardmember’s assigned credit limit within each statement cycle.
15. Cardmembers will earn 5 Avios for every INR 200 spent on Eligible Purchases made directly with British Airways, provided the cardmember has selected British Airways as their preferred airline during the card application process.
a. The cardmember must have a valid BAC account in order to receive Avios.
b. Avios will be credited to cardmember’s BAC account within ten (10) days after statement generation and transferred to the member’s British Airways Club account in the following billing cycle.
16. Cardmembers will earn 1 Avios for every INR 200 spent on eligible transactions in the following merchant categories: utilities, government services, education and insurance.
a. Avios will be credited to the cardmember’s BAC account within 10 days following statement generation, subject to the assigned credit limit within each billing cycle.
17. For all other eligible transactions not described in clauses 14, 15 and 16, cardmembers will earn 3 Avios for every INR 200 spent. Avios will not be earned on fuel transactions Avios will be credited to the cardmember’s BAC account within ten (10) days following statement generation.
18. Avios cannot be awarded retrospectively for transactions made prior to successful linkage to the cardmember’s BAC account.
19. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or reverse Avios that have been awarded where transactions are determined to be fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
20. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to amend or withdraw any of the benefits described in these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates, without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to cardmembers for doing so.
21. Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and subject to acceptance and compliance with its Terms and Conditions as stated on https://www.avios.com/en-GB/terms-and-conditions.
22. Cardmembers agree to the personal data they supply being used by IndusInd Bank and Avios Group (AGL) Limited or their gents or subcontractors for the purpose of awarding Avios, as set out in IndusInd Privacy Policy and Avios Group (AGL) Limited’s Privacy Policy.
23. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
24. All Avios earned through the IndusInd Bank Avios Visa Infinite Credit Card are subject to the British Airways Club Terms and Conditions.
25. Redemption of Avios, including availability of flights and/or upgrades is governed by the British Airways Club Terms and Conditions and Conditions of Use.

27. Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in the administration of awarding Avios shall be subject to correction without any liability on IndusInd Bank and Avios Group (AGL) Limited.
