British Airways has regular flights to Copenhagen, which land at Copenhagen Kastrup
Airport, just five miles south-east of the city. Hop on the train or Metro into
Copenhagen and stroll around the city centre after your Copenhagen flight.
You'll soon find Copenhagen's exciting harbourside setting draws you
in to the city's cosmopolitan, but calm atmosphere, punctured by stunning
architecture.
Travel to/from central Copenhagen
After your flight to Copenhagen has landed, take the train into central
Copenhagen in just 12 minutes. Another option after your Copenhagen flight is to
catch the Metro. This takes you to a range of Copenhagen districts and
doesn't take much longer than the train. Or opt for Copenhagen's
buses, which take 30 minutes or more and run directly from Copenhagen
airport to the centre. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals area - the
best option for weary travellers keen to get going after their Copenhagen flights.
These usually get you to your hotel within an hour of your Copenhagen flight
landing.
Best of Copenhagen
When your Copenhagen flight arrives, lose yourself exploring the pleasant streets of
the city centre, or just relaxing along Copenhagen's attractive waterfront.
Take a Copenhagen water taxi across to the Christianshavn district for local
seafood at an elegant gourmet restaurant, or head for Copenhagen's imposing
Amalienborg Palace or National Museum, the best place to
understand Denmark's cultural history. Make room in your flight bag for
some of Copenhagen's stylish homeware accessories and clothes to take home
on your return flights from Copenhagen.
