Activities are abundant at The Verandah with water sports including windsurfing, hobie cat sailing, snorkelling, kayaking and catamaran sailing. Back on land you can play tennis, table tennis or access the well-equipped fitness centre and a range of fitness trails that criss-cross the grounds. The whole family can enjoy endless games on the 18-hole tropical mini-golf course, which takes you on a journey through waterfalls, secret paths and bridges. You can then test your skills at one of the competitive tournaments, held on Wednesday afternoons and Friday evenings. The Kids' Club features a children's mushroom splash pool, a Pirate Ship playground and activities such as volleyball. Closest to the lobby is the pool on Rasta Beach. It's a large, elegant pool, raised up high giving fabulous ocean views from the surrounding deck and pool.

Dining information

Seabreeze is the resort's main restaurant, serving a varied buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nicole's is a fine-dining restaurant that offers a blend of stylishly presented, modern French and Italian cuisine (an additional supplement applies and is payable locally for dining in Nicole's Restaurant), and Buccaneer's is an a la carte restaurant serving lighter family-friendly food. There's also a coffee shop serving afternoon tea.

You will get that relaxed, island feeling from the moment you arrive at The Verandah, starting with a refreshing fruit punch. A total of four bars keep you cool with a wide range of signature cocktails, top-shelf liquor, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass. Get into the island spirit at the beachside Rasta Bar, a funky little shack just off the main lobby building. If you don't want to stray far from the pool, you can cool off at the Pool Bar, outfitted in natural stone, in keeping with the surroundings. By night, lively international-style music and entertainment will keep the fun flowing and your toes tapping after dark. The expansive and centrally located main lounge also overlooks the pool and the winding, limestone-walled pathways of the common. It's the place where you can meet and socialise, with fun and refreshments on tap for both daytime and night. Perched above the main beach is the relaxing Beach Bar & Grill, offering stunning views of the entire cove, serving light lunches, snacks, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. It's the ideal place to pull up a barstool, kick off your flip-flops and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Supplements may apply in restaurants.

In the restaurants, shoes should be worn and bathing suits must be covered. After 18:30, men should wear trousers and collared shirts with short or long sleeves (no T-shirts or tank tops). Women should wear dresses, skirts, trousers, culottes or tailored Bermuda-length shorts (no short shorts or cut offs)

American Express Credit Cards are NOT accepted, due to ongoing issues with American Express credit card processing, therefore cannot be used to pay for any local charges and incidentals whilst in resort, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are welcomed

We strongly recommend that transfers are booked in this destination. Transfers must be booked as additional items, for which separate vouchers will be required.
