Beautiful Pakistan has some of the most amazing mountain landscapes in the world. With five of the 14 highest mountains in the world within its borders – including a portion of the Himalayas, Pakistan provides adventurous tourists with some seriously impressive views – not least along the infamous Karakoram Highway. The capital, Islamabad, is a spacious, green city, whilst the older cities of Lahore and Karachi are populous and culturally important, with Mughal monuments on every corner.
