St James's Club Morgan Bay sits on the white sandy shores of Choc Bay in the north of St Lucia. The resort enjoys a secluded beachfront setting, not far from some of the island’s top attractions. The resort is set back from a main road that runs to the island’s capital, Castries, around three miles away. Rodney Bay is around five miles to the north – offering abundant restaurants, bars and shops – and you can take advantage of preferred rates at the Cap Estate Golf Course, around six miles from the resort. Hewanorra International Airport is in the south-east, roughly 36 miles from the property.
The air-conditioned accommodation is set within lush tropical gardens or on the verdant hillside, enjoying a private balcony or terrace with either ocean, pool or garden views. Decorated in a Caribbean style, they all feature tiled floors, island-themed artwork and wood or rattan furnishings. The hillside rooms and suites lie closest to the adult-pool, this includes Deluxe Ocean View Rooms with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, as well as more spacious One-Bedroom Suites with separate bedroom and living areas.

Two of the freeform pools connect, and the family-friendly pool provides water slides and shallower areas for kids. Adults can retreat to the secluded hilltop adult-only pool to order cocktails from the adjoining bar and admire panoramic views across the Caribbean Sea. The Tranquility Body & Soul Spa also enjoys a peaceful hillside setting, overlooking the beautiful bay. For an additional charge, you can book a range of specialist treatments here, many of which use Pevonia Botanica products.
The daily activities programme includes water sports, such as snorkelling, paddleboarding, water skiing and banana boating. You can also play beach volleyball or join fitness classes for aqua aerobics, Pilates, tai chi, yoga and more. An air-conditioned fitness centre provides modern cardio and strength training equipment, and there are four tennis courts on site, two of which are floodlit. For a supplementary charge, you can also book island excursions at the tour desk.
The kids’ club staff supervises fun activities for youngsters between the ages of 4 and 12. Children can enjoy lessons in local dance, mini discos, video games, cooking classes, craft activities and team games. Babysitting service is available for an additional charge.
The resort boasts six diverse dining venues which may be open on a rotational basis. The Palms Restaurant serves buffet-style meals in a tropical garden setting, while Bambou offers al fresco dining right beside the beach. Head to the rustic Tree Tops for made-to-order pizza and creative pasta dishes, or simply feast on snacks from the poolside Plum Tree Grill. If you’re on the beach, you can grab a burger or beef brisket sandwich from The BBQ Station. In the evenings, you can savour seafood specialities at the atmospheric Morgan’s Pier Restaurant, which extends out into the sea, or you can dine on French-Creole cuisine at the upmarket Le Jardin.
Cool down with rum punches, speciality cocktails and refreshing soft drinks at all pool and beach bars. The Sunset Bar & Lounge provides live entertainment on most evenings, and the casual Choc Bay Café is the place to go for iced coffees, homemade cakes and speciality teas.
You can wear casual clothing and beachwear for breakfast and lunch. In the evenings, you should wear footwear and casual elegant attire – including dresses, trousers, tailored shorts, and collared shirts. Le Jardin Restaurant has a more formal dress code, so you should avoid wearing cut-offs, T-shirts and shorts above the knee.
American Express Credit Cards are NOT accepted, due to ongoing issues with American Express credit card processing. Therefore, they cannot be used to pay for any local charges whilst in resort; but Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are welcomed.

Only certified tours and excursions will be operating. Housekeeping will take place every other day unless you opt-out during your stay. You will be required to wear a face mask in all indoor public areas. Babysitting is unavailable until further notice.
