How do I get a letter of confirmation for my insurance company or employer to show my British Airways flight was delayed or cancelled?

If you booked your British Airways ticket directly with us and you need proof of a delayed or cancelled booking for your insurance company or employer, our team can help you. Your letter of confirmation will include detailed fare information and anything that has already been refunded to you.

You can contact our team through this online request form.

Please note that we can only help if you made your booking directly with us. If you booked through a travel agency, an online travel company or another airline, please contact them to request a letter.

If you were rebooked onto another flight following a cancellation and you’d like to reprint your ticket, you can do this by accessing your booking in Manage My Booking.
