What information do I need to provide for my ESTA when visiting the USA?

Applications aren’t instantly approved, so we recommend you apply for your ESTA as soon as possible. If you apply under 72 hours before you’re due to travel, you may not get approved in time.

You don't need to enter any additional details on ba.com when entering your Advance Passenger Information (API) to show that you have an ESTA. This will happen automatically when you add your details.
